My name is Victoria, and I am a multidisciplinary fashion designer creating work at the intersection of science, technology, art and design.
This piece is from my collection ‘Children of CRISPR’, which was inspired by CRISPR/Cas9, a gene-editing technology that has the ability to precisely edit in and out segments of DNA 🧬
Perceived before as a feat only feasible within an unrealistic sci-fi narrative, it has now become a viable reality. And although this revolutionary tool has the potential to save many lives through treatments such as gene therapeutics, many have raised ethical concerns over its possible misuse and are fearful of bringing about a world where opportunities are dictated by the quality of your ‘genes’.

- **Grayscale** has just won their lawsuit against the SEC.
The U.S. might just get its FIRST spot #Bitcoin ETF after a historic court ruling.
The Grayscale #Bitcoin Trust had been trading at a discount to its underlying asset since February 2021, with the discount reaching a record 50% in December after the SEC's rejection.
However, the discount narrowed to around 25% as optimism grew following applications for bitcoin spot ETFs.
In summary, a federal appeals court's ruling mandates the SEC to review its rejection of #Grayscale's attempt to convert GBTC into an ETF, potentially impacting the #crypto market and paving the way for the first spot bitcoin ETF in the U.S.22375,280
