- No disrespect intended, BUT…
There is no one that I hate more when developing Lens apps:

He knew exactly why he chose that name 🤣🤣🤣

- Dencun upgrade is going live tomorrow

- I don't want to host all my publications on IPFS or Arweave. Is there any Lens app that is (or is working on) hosting the publication metadata in a mutable/erasable storage?
- Would it be nice to see the follower number when you open a profile that follows you? Like "Satoshi is your 3rd follower" / "Satoshi is your follower #3"
- +200 USD network fees, I guess we are back?
- Lens Goes Permissionless
As of today, Lens is permissionless. Since we launched the protocol, our guiding mission has been to enable human connection, through new forms of ownership—owning our data, our social graph,...

- Did you know that any ERC20 currency can now be used on lens v2; it has no allowlist protection anymore.
https://polygonscan.com/address/0x1eD5983F0c883B96f7C35528a1e22EEA67DE3Ff9#writeProxyContract (ModuleRegistry) method - registerErc20Currency - public fully open for anyone to execute.
I'm sharing this because I think this is a feature not many people know happened on the lens v2 upgrade. Also, no allowlist exists now for all modules, so open actions, follow modules and reference modules!
- **Introducing Lens Protocol V2**
Lens Protocol V2 – the next chapter in the evolution of Lens. V2 brings even greater control to builders and integrators as well as people exploring web3-powered experiences. Lens V2 retains its characteristic open design space that gives developers and integrators the choice.

- This is super helpful, I just extended my fernetcola.eth domain thanks to this @chainjetbot.lens reminder! I wonder if I can track the expiration of other ENS domains that I am interested in but I do not own yet - I will dig later @chainjet.lens
- I missed this post, wtf. Some interesting comments also
- Big congrats to 🇦🇷🇦🇷 for the win!
- We would like to hear your opinion on this new proposal
- Careful everyone with phising scams out there! ⚠️
There has been few incidents recently where community members lost their profiles due to a phishing scam on Twitter and its heartbreaking to see folks losing their profile even if they can rebuild the audience, its not the experience we are looking for even on a protocol level. 😞
We build the Lens Protocol to be agnostic to various social networking use-cases and also realized that being able to secure your profile is extremely important for the users. While we have seen some iterations of tools to secure profiles, we introduced a way to add additional security (and make it normie proof) measures for Lens V2 that would mitigate similar attempts.
Since Lens has grown so much in the past year and has an active community, we feel that we need to take action sooner and deploy a solution that helps to secure the profiles on similar scams. Therefore, we are going to release an update that improves significantly the security of the profiles before Lens V2. This is our priority now. ⚡️
Thank you for helping out to point the issues and if anyone has experienced a phising attack or seen one, please DM across Lens.
Rest stay tuned for the update 🌿

- Today marks our 1 Year Anniversary of making friends onchain 🎂!
Thank you to everyone who has made the first year of Lens Protocol so special and groundbreaking. Lens has brought together builders, creators, communities, and friends, all while in beta.
There's so much planned for the second year ahead, and we can't wait to continue to grow with all of you.

On each Follow NFT sale supporting royalties, the amount will be sent to the owner of the followed profile.
Take into account that the percentage can be changed at any time by the owner of the followed profile, this is just to discuss the initial default configuration.

You stake, for a couple of hours, a really small amount to do a comment. The publication author can take that from you (or maybe slash you sending it to Lens DAO treasury) if he thinks your comment is spam. Once you get slashed, your reputation decreases linearly, while the amount you need to stake next time increases exponentially (it probably cools down after a "long" time without getting slashed).
Someone could ask *"What if the publication author marks your comment as spam just to take the money?"*. I would say, from the game theory perspective, this doesn't make too much sense, as he will be seen as a bad slasher and then will make people to stop interacting with him.
Any disadvantage? Well, it sounds cool if you are a nerd kid, but I'm not sure how it would be received by the users outside of the crypto nitch.
