What are Smart Auctions, and what makes them so *smart*?
- Smart Auctions work just like regular Collects, giving you the ability to easily tokenize your posts.
- Bidding on a Smart Auction is **gasless**. Thanks to Lens Open Actions, you can bid on an auction with only a signature!
- NFTs created with Smart Auctions are **not hidden in OpenSea** and are visible in popular wallets, unlike regular Lens Collect NFTs.
- The NFT contract is **owned by the author**, allowing for proof of creation, collecting onchain royalties, and more.
- The auctions are **100% onchain** and part of your social graph.
- Auctions don’t start until the first bid is placed and are automatically extended after the last bid to prevent sniping.
- Smart Auctions can easily be adopted by any Lens app, permissionlessly, since they’re built on the Open Actions protocol.

- fun fact: this subject was a huge part of my life and then took years off of it. a brother revealed as pathological liar. a life in its entirety fabricated. toxic manipulation to destroy me once not getting his way. collectively trying to extract over $ 80,000 from everyone i know, that i knew of. serial cheater expecting his bros to cover for him at every turn. on a multi year defamation campaign to this day i don’t know the true extent of other than making a burner IG account to harass me, select individuals never talking to me again/unfollowing me, telling people he’s going to find me and kill me, claiming suicidal to get friends of mine to turn against me, etc. the most insane thing i have ever dealt with regarding a human being. now has no friends left from the original circle, burned every bridge, but likely lost me lots of freelance work with good people along the way that still are afraid to question him or call him out due to fear of ruin, fear of him doing the same to them they know he’s capable of. sheer darkness captured perfectly, as unfortunate as it may be that it created an image that is one of my favourites from NYC 🍎
