- I just realized that today is my 1 year anniversary on Lens 🌿
During the past year, I learned and grew so much. I began to understand how to be intentional with my time and energy and have slowly started to build the life I want. Rather than just watching the days pass me by, or letting life happen "to" me, I began to take accountability for myself. I quit my miserable job in tradfi and took a chance on myself.
I'm committed to spending the next year continuing to improve my craft as an artist and writer. I will keep putting myself out there and overcome my fears, shame and self-doubts. My goal is that, one year from now, I am making a comfortable living doing things I love.
Thank you to everyone who has supported and believed in me. Thank you to all the new friends I have met along this journey. I'm looking forward to another year with you. 🤍

- **How do you inspire yourself when you hit a creative block?**
Often as artists, we get comfortable with our streamlined process or a specific style that we gravitate towards, that we fall into a pit of stagnation. It's almost like we go on autopilot, letting the "flow" carries us away, only to create something not as refreshing or compelling as we imagined. Theoretically, we should be better at what we do, but sometimes it can also hinder our ability to push ourselves.
When I start to see this pattern in my photography, I like to set a little challenge for myself. Whether it's adding a foreign element in my composition and make it work, or attempting a different style that I'm not familiar with, it helps me see my creative process in a different light with more experimental approach. When I went out to shoot that day, I decided to include myself as part of the view in a more subtle way, which I don't normally do. It adds more layers and perspectives to the composition, and I love how it turned out.
