- Time is our most precious asset.
When you're young, you are literally a "time billionaire”—rich with time. Too many people fail to realize the value of this asset until it is gone. Treat time as your ultimate currency—it’s all you have and you can never get it back.

- US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has issued a statement today, stating that the US government remains vigilant to potential risks to the economy, particularly in light of the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, and recent strains on the banking system.
Despite these concerns, Yellen reassured the public that the US banking system remains stable and robust, bolstered by strong capital and liquidity conditions, while the global financial system has demonstrated its resilience.
In addition, Yellen acknowledged that while US inflation levels have remained elevated, there has been some moderation over the past six months. The Treasury Secretary highlighted that the Biden administration is closely monitoring inflation trends and stands ready to take action if necessary.
Yellen's comments come as the US continues to navigate through an uncertain economic climate, with challenges posed by the ongoing pandemic and geopolitical tensions. The Treasury Secretary emphasized the government's commitment to maintaining stability and protecting the economy in these challenging times.

- On-chain data shows whales continually buying $ARB. Andrew Kang(@Rewkang) bought 1.51M $ARB with 1.85M $USDC again at null.23. Andrew Kang spent a total of 2.85M $USDC to buy 2.3M $ARB, with an average buying price of null.24.
- On Apr 4, Elon Musk changed the Bluebird to dog, the price of $DOGE increased by ~30%. On Apr 7, he changed the logo back to Bluebird, the price of $DOGE decreased by ~6%. During this period, 2 whales among the top 5 holders reduced their holdings by ~1.4B $DOGE ($121M).
Whale "DDuX" (the 5th holder) reduced 1.1B $DOGE($95.2M). https://bitinfocharts.com/dogecoin/address/DDuXGMFNGpGjaAqyDunSMvceMBruc1wwKF… Whale "D8ZE" (the 3rd holder) reduced 300M $DOGE($28.6M). https://bitinfocharts.com/dogecoin/address/D8ZEVbgf4yPs3MK8dMJJ7PpSyBKsbd66TX…

- I’m thinking about throwing some money into a few micro cap projects.
For the science.
1) Market cap must be $5/10M max
2) Solid team
3) Unique use-cases
4) Decent tokenomics
Would you be so kind to shill me some high quality micro cap gems that fit those criteria?
- What if instead of trying to attach wallets to Discord, we attach something like Discord to the apps we use, and they all get stored in a single social graph that can be aggregated or processed?
You wouldn't need to join 10 Discord servers to communicate with specific app communities; you can do it directly on the website using your Web3 login.
Of course, a convenient UX is needed to make people leave Discord, but now the Web3 world is producing solutions that allow for not signing every message or not paying a fee for every like, so I genuinely believe in this idea.

- Seeing a scary scam to warn you of...
Imagine you sent 505 USDC. Then a scammer triggers a transaction of 505 USDC that looks like it came from your wallet, with a contract address matching the last 6 number/letters in the real USDC contract.
Anyone else seen this?
- If the *ONLY* value of your token is governance votes including funding, then don't rug that.
You've made your token worthless. Oh and with non-binding votes, *AND* a centralized sequencer, you're probably a money transmitter.
Good luck with that...
- The top 5 projects with the highest TVL in zksync are:
@syncswap - Currently has no tokens, but offers liquidity provision, trading, and the purchase of test NFTs with potential for airdrops.
@mute_io - Currently the most frequently used swap with listed tokens, a circulating market cap of over 4.5 million, and FDV of 46.5 million.
@spacefi_io - Has low circulation but a high market value, suitable for short-term observation.
@OnchainTrade - Offers both swap and perpetual contract functions.
@GemSwap_ZKS - A small-scale swap project.
- ARB: The listing of ARB on the major Korean exchange Upbit yesterday has given it a boost. It has to be said that the Koreans are pretty good at driving up prices, but there were also many whales selling yesterday.
For example, Amber sold 7.3 million ARB. Don't think that it's a bad thing when the big players sell, as the reason why ARB isn't going up is because the car is too heavy, and the whales, big players, and small players all don't want to sell because the fundamentals of ARB are just too good. Currently, ARB's TVL has surpassed all other mainstream L1 public chains, and its main ecological projects such as GMX, GNS, and RFNT have all been listed on Binance, indicating that Binance's support for the ARB ecosystem is very strong.
So for those who have already invested, don't worry about short-term fluctuations. For those who haven't invested or want to increase their holdings, it's a good idea to consider buying around the 1 yuan mark.
- The speed of OpenAI's iteration is really fast. Every week they seem to be preparing to disrupt something new 🤪.
OpenAI has announced the launch of a plugin feature and opened up Plugin, which is essentially an application store built around ChatGPT. This allows the browser version of ChatGPT to search for data in real-time, thereby solving the connectivity issue.
Will the plugin market for ChatGPT be the new App Store in the future?

- I would like to share with you some of my principles:
No short selling
No leverage (except for operating loans)
Don't touch derivatives
Maximum single currency position should not exceed 20% of the portfolio (sometimes it is not possible 😂)
Some of my early colleagues have become the CEO of a Top 5 global real estate fund in Asia, while others are unemployed. Some of my partners who started their own businesses at the same time have gone public on the NYSE, while others have fallen into trouble with the law. Some of those who started investing in cryptocurrencies at the same time have made billions, while others have committed suicide. Finding your own place is more important than anything else. You may not be the best, but try not to drop out too early.
- Gambling coin just launched its sportsbook on Arbitrum 30 minutes ago. $GNS launched on Arbitrum on 31 Dec 2022. And look what happened to their fees. Don't be a fadoooooor.
- Vitalik published a new article on what excites him the most in the ETH ecosystem right now
Here’s what he said:
1. Money
Crypto offers several advantages in wealthy countries:
- Safety against de-platforming
- More convenient to make donations
- Represent private money in a cashless society
1.1 Stablecoins
Stablecoins issued on-chain have many convenient properties:
- Open for use by anyone
- Resistant to censorship
- Interact well with on-chain infrastructure (accounts, DEXes, etc).
1.2 The 3 stablecoins categories:
- Centralized stablecoins
- DAO-governed real-world-asset backed stablecoins
- Governance-minimized crypto-backed stablecoins
1.3 The tradeoff
- USDC works but stability depends on the macroeconomic and political stability of the US.
- RAI can survive all of these risks, but it has a negative interest rate
- DAO-governed RWA-backed stablecoins could work as a happy medium if it combines:
a. Scalability
b. Robustness
c. Economic practicality
d. Censorship resistance
2. Defi
Decentralized stablecoins are the most important DeFi product, but there are a few others that have an important niche:
- Prediction markets
- Major stock indices and real estate
- Layers for efficiently trading between other assets
3. Digital Identity
Identity examples include:
- Names
- Attestations
- Proof of personhood
- Basic authentication
An attempt to create a centralized platform to achieve all of these tasks from scratch won't work.
3.1 What solutions combine privacy and scalability?
- Privacy: Combining on-chain and off-chain info and use ZK-SNARKs
- Scalability: Rollups and validiums
4. DAOs
There are two questions to answer:
A) What kinds of governance structures make sense, and for what use cases?
B) Does it make sense to implement those structures as a DAO, or through regular incorporation and legal contracts?
Image
4.1 Decentralization for robustness
A decentralized governance structure protects against attackers on the inside
Decentralized implementation protects against powerful attackers on the outside ("censorship resistance").
Two possible directions include:
- Decisions need to be passed not just by token holders but also by some other class of user
- Intentional friction, making it so that certain kinds of decisions can only take effect after a delay
4.2 Decentralization for efficiency
Governance decentralized for efficiency preserves the ability to act rapidly but tries to move decisions away from the top.
Pros and Cons:
- Not good for large-scale projects in the same wealthy country.
- Good for very small-scale projects, highly internationalized projects, and projects located in countries with inefficient institutions and weak rule of law.
4.3 Decentralization for interoperability
It's easier and more secure for on-chain things to interact with other on-chain things than with off-chain systems that would inevitably require an (attackable) bridge layer.
5. Hybrid applications
There are hybrid applications that take advantage of both blockchains and other systems to improve their trust models.
- Voting
- Government registries
- Corporate accounting
- Games
- Supply chain applications
- Tracking access authorization
5.1 Challenges ahead
- Blockchains are not scalable
- Transactions take a long time to get on-chain
- Wallets are either non-user-friendly or unsafe
5.2 Solutions
- Decentralized solutions to holding funds
- ERC-4337 and account abstraction wallets
- Rollup technology to solve scalability
- Analysts say USDC's shrinking market share may be a reason why Circle was in such a rush to go public.
