Web2 rewards engagement, rather than development. How do we fuel collective creative momentum to build innovation and growth rather than a list of scrawls saying “I was here.” 008/100
Attention is the gravity of the cybernet. In web2, this lifeforce was co-opted for sales and clicks. What forces and designers are moving us out of ad-driven interactions and building intention-optimized sandboxes. 007/100
The new internet has brought us out of solo travel and into group exploration. How will multiplayer innovation and discovery redefine emotional ergonomics in cyberspace? 006/100
The reality is that most people don’t want to be day traders just to interact with the new internet. So don’t make them. Is a currency mullet the solution? Fiat in the front and crypto in the back. Gain the benefits of an on-chain system while leveraging the approachability and trust of systems potential new users already accept. 005/100
Word of mouth and community work when you know people, but if you’re new here, it’s hard to tell the good agents from the bad. How do you assign trust in individuals, and build trust in the system that assigns it? 004/100
**Information Architecture** The attention economy stinks. But maybe we threw a little too much of it away. UI/UX stopped serving us when we became the product. But at least we knew where to find the information we needed. Electric cars still have pedals and a steering wheel. As our systems get more complicated, shouldn’t they be simpler to understand? 003/100
**Where’s the Door?** Why is it so hard to get here? As we build community, we need to build better doors. You can’t throw a good party without guests. 002/100
**Hello World.** Let’s talk design in this decentralized landscape. -What are the physics of cyberspace? -Is attention the online currency spend? -Are we designing for ownership or access? -What do our new interfaces feel like? -From where do we hear new voices? Seeking curious minds and strange unknowns. 001/100
