- Yesterday, I had the opportunity to visit PERMAFUNGI and witness their innovative sustainability practices.
One of their interesting methods involves recycling harvested coffee grounds to grow oyster mushrooms, demonstrating an excellent example of circular economy in action.
In addition to this, PERMAFUNGI is also contributing to reducing plastic waste by creating biodegradable materials that can be used in construction and ecodesign projects. (it has sound isolation properties)
It's inspiring to see companies like PERMAFUNGI taking tangible steps towards a more sustainable future. 🌿🌿🌿
The company is based in Brussels, Belgium.

This simple change fundamentally alters the incentive structure between game publishers and players.

- F. Schubert - Impromptu Op.142 (D.935) No.3 in B flat Major
The first piece that I played during the Roxbury Series Recital. Schubert is one of my favorite composers! Schubert's melodies possess a song-like quality that is both tender and touching, with an elegant charm that captivates the listener. When I play Schubert I always imagine a voice singing in my head. The fact that he composed over 500 vocal pieces is a testament to his genius. Can you hear the song-like features of this piece? It's truly enchanting!

Ink and watercolours
18/03/2016, Salerno, Italy 🇮🇹
I gave drawing lessons several times, even before finishing my first degree. I taught (and I still do) urban sketches, technical drawing, spherical perspectives... On the day of these photos, I was preparing a class on the basics of perspective: vanishing points, horizon line, etc.
The exercise's goal was to understand how the point of view changes the whole composition. To that aim, I first drew a building in isometric perspective, then placed 3 imaginary characters: A, B, and C., and asked the students to compose a conical perspective from A, B and C.
Some of the students got it at once, some took longer, but something very appreciated by most of them were two unexpected things: first, that I painted the drawings with my watercolours, and second, that I didn't use the ruler.
Why was that? Because we were in a faculty of engineering, and engineers' drawings tend to be pretty black and white and extremely accurate. I was told that they often got lost in the accuracy of the representation without really understanding the concept behind it.
My answer was that I used the ruler before, during my technical high-school (1998-2003) and my years at engineering (2004-07). My current freedom to draw was due to first drawing with accuracy to understand the concept, so both things were necessary for building my artistic side.
But tell me dear reader,
Do you think is more important the accuracy or the concept?
Would you draw a flower in a medicine test?
