- **George II Parcel Gilt Padauk Cabinet**
In 2008, an incredible cabinet with gold decor by King George II of Great Britain and Ireland was sold at Christie's auction house. This luxurious and ornate piece of furniture was created by a famous designer, but this is only one of the reasons why this table is sold at such a high price. It sold at auction for a staggering £2,729,250. In terms of dollars, it turns out a little less than 4 million. Henry House, the head of the Christie's furniture company, was delighted with such revenue and explained such an incredibly high price by the fact that this fact reflects the market demand for high-quality goods.

- The Harrington Commode
This chest of drawers differs from previous pieces of furniture in its rather simple design and moderate pretentiousness. The Harrington Commode was an 18th-century piece of English furniture created by the famous craftsman Thomas Chippendale. His works are always in demand when they appear at auctions. And this household item went under the hammer at Sotheby's in 2010, brought in 3,793,250 pounds. That's over $ 5 million at the current exchange rate.

- Many of the most expensive antiques ever sold belonged to figures from European or Asian countries, but this particular antique is closer to home.
This desk is an 18th-century American desk created by a Quaker cabinetmaker. The 2.8 meter high desk was made of mahogany.
It is one of nine Goddard desks that have been created, and besides its historical value, it is one of the first designs to develop the look of the front of the unit, a minimalist look that is considered American.
This one went down in the history of antiques when it was bought by Christie's at auction in New York for $ 11.4 million. It is also the highest amount ever paid for American antique furniture.
He got this price because it is believed that the other eight were destroyed.

- Gn 🌙✨️🤔 with my Brainstorming
It's ironic that our brain looks like a labyrinth. The walls that form our mental labyrinth are quite strong, but I feel like most of them were placed there against our will to make it difficult for us to achieve the results we want.
It is enjoyable to take a closer look and examine the personalities of the walls and the reasons for their existence. And even though I'm stuck or lost in the labyrinth of my neurons, I think my real self is still in a good mood. The battle between my walls and my true self is also quite big and busy. That's why I don't need anyone else to fight with, I guess (:

- Hey rebels!
You were not born to be mediocre
You were taught to become such
some at home
some at school
the social pressure
the peer pressure
"what will people say?"
"what will people think?"
One day at a time
slowly... without even knowing it
you get closer to becoming mediocre
and by the time it's done
it's too late...
So don't let them change you
Neither of them
EVER!
- **The Eileen Gray** chair is an elegant version of furniture created around 1918. The item was estimated to cost $ 4 million, but the merchant who was lucky enough to purchase it felt that he had a unique product in his hands. He turned out to be right, as he was eventually able to sell it for $ 28.3 million. Yves Saint Laurent became its owner.

- **RABBIT BY JEFF KOONS**
However, Jeff Koons did not remain without a record for long. A sculpture by a controversial artist has taken the place of the most expensive work by a living artist just six months after a painting by David Hockney broke an auction record.
The shiny stainless steel sculpture, created in 1986, was inspired by a children's inflatable toy and was praised by art critics as elegant and reminiscent of earlier works by Duchamp and Warhol.
Koons' career was uneven, so the sale was a good help after he was forced to downsize his studio in 2017.
The sculpture was sold at Christie's auction to Robert E. Mnuchin, an art dealer and father of Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin. The price was $ 91,100,000 when the hammer fell. Without hesitation, one of the most original and most expensive items sold at auction until 2023.
