- Future Surf was built on community, collaboration and the common goal of advancing culture. "JumpRope" is a living breathing example of exactly that.
The song is a collaborative effort by the founders of @FutureSurfRadio, @CamMurdoch, Scolla Fungwe & June Jissle as well as Future Surf family and fellow creatives, @MilesRyanHarris & Ashton Woods. To celebrate the 100th episode of FSR, we made plans to drop a song commemorating such a momentous occasion and it only made sense that we should do it while being together face-to-face in Colorado for ETH Denver. Although June couldn't make the trip, he set the foundation with this amazing Afro-Caribbean influenced production and myself, Miles & Cam laced the vocals before sending the session to Woods to bring it all home. As a proud child of immigrant parents from Cameroon, this is a big moment for me to put something like this out into the world. We couldn't be more proud as a community and I can only hope you will enjoy this as much as we did creating it.
The full song is available to mint in an open edition as a part of the Reveel x Decent.xyz Creators Grant. This grant closes on 3/13. (313 is my angel number). Every mint = 1 vote and the top three songs get to split the grant between creatives. (You can mint as many editions as you like.) Winning this grant will accelerate our plans for a Future Surf Creative Camp! We want to scale this process to include as many artists from our community as possible!
