- **Russian Cat Nurses Eight Orphaned Hedgehogs Back to Health**
At the Sadgorod Zoo in Vladivostok, Russia, eight orphaned hedgehogs found a new mom in the most unusual of animals: a black cat named Musya.
The hoglets (yes, baby hedgehogs are called hoglets and it's perhaps the cutest word I've ever heard) were found after their mother had been killed in an accident - tiny, blind and struggling for survival without their mother to protect them.
Zoo staff scooped up the hoglets and took them into care. The zoo's team tried everything to get the eight hoglets to feed, but they refused milk from a bottle, syringe, and saucer for two days, even when they were placed on a heating pad to stimulate their digestion. It was clear: if the prickly little tykes didn't eat soon, they wouldn't make it.
Enter Musya: the fluffy black cat had recently raised and nursed a litter of foster kittens and still had milk to give. Out of options, zoo staff decided to pair Musya and the hoglets together, hoping Musya's presence and milk would be enough to get the hedgehogs to eat.
The hoglets reacted immediately, sensing Musya's natural warmth and smelling her milk. They burrowed right into her soft, fluffy belly and began nursing right away. Musya didn't seem to mind the strange-looking "kittens," though she's not afraid to give them a little scolding if they get too prickly.
Musya nursed the hoglets for over a week and kept them warm and cozy at night. Thanks to their adopted cat mom, the hedgehogs made it through and are now munching happily on solid foods. Their hobbies (likely learned from Musya) include eating and sleeping.

- **Did you know that there is a kind of jellyfish that is immortal? 🤯**
The only immortal species on Earth is a transparent jellyfish called Turritopsis nutricula that measures up to a maximum of 4.5 millimeters. Did you know?
He is able to return to his juvenile form (polyp) after reaching his sexual maturity, through a cellular process of transdifferentiation. Theoretically, this cycle can be repeated indefinitely, presenting itself as biologically immortal.
There are two stages in the life cycle of this jellyfish, polyp stage (juvenile) and the jellyfish stage (adult). They start as eggs and begin to hatch in two days. In two weeks they enter the jellyfish stage. Once the jellyfish reaches the jellyfish stage and mates, it begins to return to the polyp stage.
This species was originally discovered in 1880, but it was not until the 1990s that scientists discovered its ability to live theoretically forever.
It is found in all the oceans of the world in temperate or tropical waters, from Colombia to Japan, but it has also been found in the Mediterranean Sea on the coasts of Italy and Spain.
It should be noted that these jellyfish technically have the ability to live forever, but can die easily. They can be easily killed by a series of predators that use them as a source of food.

- MEET 32-YEAR-OLD MAN WHO LOOKS LIKE A 14-YEAR-OLD BOY
Many people will love to look half their age but a 32-year-old man Denis Vashurin who looks like a teenager did not ask for this.
According to his birth certificate, he was born in 1987 but a look at him will have you convinced that he is not a day older than 14.
He has found himself a social media sensation in Russia after doing an interview with popular YouTube personality “Vasya na sene”.
Many have been left amazed at his youthful looks and even he admits that he always gets reactions of disbelief when he tells people his age.
That’s why he prefers living in a small village in Russia’s Krasnoyarsk region, instead of moving to the city. Everybody knows him there, and he gets to spend time alone doing what he likes – hunting, fishing and spending time with his girlfriend.
Speaking during his interview with Vasya, Denis revealed that his parents noticed he was not like other children at a very young age. He was always the smallest one in his age group, but that really didn’t bother him in the beginning. He was a very active child – some would even say hyperactive – he could do all the things the other kids could, and he never had to face any bullying. As he grew older, the differences became more distinct and by the time get reached his teens, it was as if he had stopped aging.
In his high-school graduation photo, he looked like a child among fully-grown young adults.
“When I realized that I would no longer change physically, at first I felt somewhat uneasy,” Denis said. “I thought about how everything would be, how my life would go on, whether it would be hard for me.”
He has managed to live a generally normal life but there are times when he still has to prove his age.
He recalls an incident with traffic police who suspected he forged his driver’s license. After confirming his age, the traffic policeman started making jokes about how young he looked, which he found inappropriate.
“Why do I have to explain something to someone every time?” the indignant 32-year-old asked rhetorically.
Although he looks young, his body ages at the same rate as other people his age. As for his personality, his friends and his girlfriend actually call him “grandpa”.
“I’m a bore, I’m stubborn, I’m lethargic, like a bear during hibernation,” Denis explained with a laugh.
The 32-year-old has been dating his girlfriend for four years now. Luckily, they’ve known each other for a long time, so he didn’t have to prove his real age to her.
Another thing Denis has to deal with because of his youthful appearance is being judged by just his looks.
“You cannot live my life,” he said. “You do not know how you would live in my body, in my situation, what kind of person you would become. Therefore, do not judge.”

- **Bobbie the Wonder Dog**
Bobbie the Wonder Dog, of Silverton, was the canine hero in a story that became a national sensation. On a February day in 1924, the two-year-old scotch-collie mix appeared on the doorstep of his owners, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brazier. What amazed them was that they had not seen their dog since he had disappeared six months earlier during a car trip in Indiana. Bobbie—mangy, scrawny, feet worn to the bone—appeared to have walked the entire distance to Silverton by himself.
The local paper, the *Silverton Appeal*, published the story of Bobbie's cross-country trek, and it quickly spread to newspapers across the country. The Braziers received hundreds of letters from people simply addressed to "Bobbie, the Wonder Dog" or "Silverton's Bobbie." Some people claimed they had seen Bobbie and were able to identify him by his distinguishing features.
Officials from the Oregon Humane Society launched an investigation into the Braziers' claims and were able to confirm that Bobbie had indeed traveled 2,800 miles in the dead of winter to return home.
A much-celebrated dog Bobbie received medals, keys to cities, and a jewel-studded harness and collar. He was the guest of honor at the Portland Home Show, where over 40,000 people came to view him, and he was presented with his own dog-sized bungalow.
Bobbie's story was featured in "Ripley's Believe It or Not" and *Bobbie, a Great Collie*, by Charles Alexander. Bobbie played himself in the silent film *The Call of the West*, a reel of which is in the archives of the Oregon Historical Society Research Library.
Upon his death in 1927, Bobbie was buried with honors at the Oregon Humane Society. Portland Mayor George Baker gave the eulogy. Rin Tin Tin, a German shepherd who was a Hollywood film star, later laid a wreath at his grave.
