- Zurf is going to break the lens ecosystem in a very good way in the same way that Instagram broke web2.
Where every other app sort of ended up in the same place, and orb ultimately came out on top in my opinion, Zurf isnβt trying to be any other app. Its itself.
The way you interact with the app is completely different. Each post, even text posts, get its own fullscreen takeover. For artists and creators, this will be revolutionary as an impression on Zurf will be a higher quality impression than any other app including web2.
Maybe the closest comparator is a story on IG, but this isnβt ephemeral. So the behavior will be different.
This is a beautiful innovation and I canβt wait to see how all the talented creators use it.
