- After 8 months I return for more, what up y’all!
I’ve had my head in the sand with work stuff, and I’m slowly reintegrating myself back into social circles and into the world of creativity. The past year has been very strange, with me feeling less of a creative drive than I’ve felt in the last 10 years or so. Working through that has been scary, because I want to create but haven’t felt able to for a number of reasons. Namely just haven’t felt the flow.
I’ve been feeling the flow somewhat again, but am just trying to give myself a lot of grace and patience in knowing that there is no right way to do this all. If anything, the only right way is to be patient and forgiving with myself I think. I’m still figuring stuff out and trying to remember that I do have things to say and my own perspective to share. Please bear with me as I work on all this. Lots of love!

- Ethereal Resting Place
The chair depicted is one that I’d been wanting to bring to life for a while. It’s angular and simple, yet still functional. My initial idea was to put it in a sterile environment as the sole item of focus.
Upon exploration I began taking the environment further and further until it ended up being something of a surrealistic world. Super stoked on how this turned out.
Do you have a favorite detail? If so, what is it?!
- Hello everyone, it's wonderful to be here! I'm looking forward to exploring lens and meeting more friends along the way!
My name is Cole Dorais, I'm a multidisciplinary artist living in NYC. I largely focus on 3D work but always enjoy expanding my horizons and working in other mediums. I've been creating art for the last ~7 years, and in that time I've learned so much about myself and made more friends than I could ever dream of. I'm excited to continue doing that here on lens!
