- iCloud Keychain coming to Chrome with macOS Sonoma 🔒
That was the only reason I switched to a third-party password manager; I wonder how many Apple users will be switching back to iCloud Keychain with this one feature enabled?

- In 10 years, most certificates will be issued on-chain, which will make them portable throughout the internet and easily verifiable.
Platforms like LinkedIn, or whatever the equivalent on the @lensprotocol will be, will not rely on user input, they will check credentials themself and give you the option to display them.
Thanks for the certificate @alchemyuniversity.lens, this bootcamp was a lot of fun!
Here are three reasons this 8-week Ethereum Developer Bootcamp stood out to me:
1. Starts with the fundamentals
You go from cryptography to bitcoins utxo model, Ethereum use of Merkle trees, etc. My basic knowledge of cryptography and blockchain is much stronger now, fueling my intrinsic motivation.
2. Extremely well structured
It’s so well structured that I use it as a cheat sheet when developing smart contacts. With a few clicks, I can revisit how it’s done. Even down to the subcategories, it feels very thoughtfully curated.
3. Focus on coding
There are many coding challenges for almost every topic. Hard enough to pass them over time but also not that hard, and not too many to feel like you are getting bored with it.

- Introducing:
Recurring Payment-based Membership NFTs in Web3.
Businesses need recurrent stable income streams rather than unpredictable ones based on hype and market conditions.
So we separated "ownership" from "use" by modifying an ERC721 contract and started building a B2B product around it.
We want to enable new, more sustainable, long-term-oriented business models in the Ethereum Ecosystem by combining the successful subscription model from web2 with the digital property rights from web3.

- I just submitted my final project and thereby finished my eight-week Ethereum developer bootcamp with @alchemyuniversity.lens 🥳
Crazy to see what’s available for free online nowadays.
I have already finished multiple courses in my career, this is what stood out in this one:

- When I started my channel, I kept it very generic. I just wanted to get it started.
But after ten videos, it´s clear what I want to do with this. I want to excite people about web3 products. So I went in for a rebrand and got a new tagline:
*"For the curious web3 end-user"*

I fucking love smart contracts, and it´s the main reason I got into blockchains.
This is the video you can pass on when someone asks you how you could explain it in simple terms.
Also, thanks to @ethglobal.lens for that cool shirt! 🔥

- Lesson learned. No matter how "minimalistic" you think your lifestyle is, get a big kitchen and storage cabinets
- If you are a passionate dev or product person in web3 and don’t have much capital at hand, your ROI will be a full time job in a ever growing industry not you timing the markets right

- How Blockchains are Helping Indian Police Combat Corruption
With layer 2s maturing and offering cheaper and faster transactions, we could see an explosion in non-financial applications on Ethereum.
Watch how the Firozabad Police take such good advantage of the immutability feature of blockchains to combat corruption.
Enjoy!

- the far bigger problem with SBF not facing consequences is that talented people, who were on the brink of trying something in web3, will now feel their pessimistic side validated and not start that side project.

- The Beauty of Self-Custody in Web3
Hi lensfrens 🌿
We can´t change what happened with FTX.
But we can help people get excited about the idea of self-custody and being protected by the beauty of math and applied cryptography.

- Nothing I can do about SBF.
Everything I can do about trying new protocols, having fun with DeFi, and connecting to a bunch of different passionate communities.
- First impression of the new @orbapp.lens :
I love that there is a dedicated „learn“ tab. I hope this can expand the social part of the experience with an educational one.
Lens could be the Trojan horse for getting people into crypto, and from there hook people with self custody and DeFi.
Anyway, all in all, very cool app! First time it feels like having a web3 experience on my phone 🏄♀️
Thanks @stani.lens for the invite and @orbapp.lens team let me know if I can help in anyway on the iOS part of things.
Let’s bring web3 to mobile 🤝🏻💪🏼🥷🏼
- Hey frens 🌿
Question regarding layer2. Do you guys think in 3 years from now...
A: Optimistic Layer 2s (mainly Optimsm and Arbitrum) will have the biggest market share of TVL because they turned fraud proofs on, decentralized fast enough and were cheap "enough" when the 2023/2024 bull market took off
B: Or do you think zkEVMs (full EVM compatible or with their own virtual machine in between) will go-to-market fast enough and have the advantage of super cheap fees and will have captured most market share by 2025
I´m curious what you guys think because it seems like everyone expecting zkEVMs to just come in and dominate but I feel like people underestimate that optimistic rollups could soon be rdy (proof+decentral) and just capture a ton of the market before others are coming into the market

- if we are speedrunning finance is this our lehman brothers moment?
- Starbucks enters web3
I know today is a sad day for crypto, so I thought maybe we need a reminder of how close we are to mainstream adoption.
Starbucks entering web3 is a huge deal. We are talking about 25 million loyalty customers 🤯
And for me the most interesting part of the approach: they are actually going to hide most of the technical complexity from the user, to a point where the user doesn´t even have to know they are using a blockchain.
Can´t wait to see how it will play out...
- Just used @sismo.lens to create my Eth Influencer ZK Badge 🔰
Seeing what kind of problems twitter has with bots and spam, we should really think about reputation systems early in this industry.
Question though, is there any way to display it on my profile? Or will this be automatically done once implemented on a specific platform like @lenster.lens ?

Everyone who is on lens at this early point in time has to be an incredibly curious person
- For my day job as iOS Dev I was researching security on apple´s ecosystem, making sure our user data is as safe as it can be. Quite fast I ended up finishing tutorials on CrpytoKit, apple´s own cryptography framework, and from there it quite fast derailed into a long rabbit hole of secure hash algorithms and elliptic curves...
Long story short:
I´m getting obsessed with cryptography 😄
- Reddit enters web3
Hi guys 🙂
this time we look into the new partnership between Reddit and Arbitrum, bringing their community point system into web3.
I know that they are also working with Polygon for their avatar NFTs, which I will cover in a later video.
Here you can see the reddit discussion mentioned in the video:
https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/y3n61j/what_advantages_do_you_see_in_running_subreddits/ #bytes
- Besides writing iOS applications, which I fucking love, I also wanted to create content.
I´m still figuring out the details, but I want to communicate my ideas.
Don´t know why, but it just seems cool to do since it´s so different from my day job as a dev.
Therefore I started YouTube a while ago, but being in this crypto space for so long, I wondered why I´m not starting on lens? Why would I tie myself to a specific platform, especially when I´m just starting out?
Anyway, all this, just to say that I decide to go all in on Lens. Meaning I can now explore the protocol as a dev, building apps on top, but also creating content around the topic. Sounds cool to me. Hope you will enjoy the content 🙂
👻
- I started a YouTube Channel! 🎥 🥳
The gap between the web3 native and an average user is very high, so I want to try to get people excited about this industry by focusing on the web3 end-user. Meaning, showing them what they can already use today, which products already being built and which advantages they have.
I will try to boil the technical complexity down to the minimum and explain it with simple examples and analogies.
Anyway, if anyone is interested or wants to support, here is the link 🙂
