This was probably one of my most meaningful moments in my web3 journey just yet… When Stani announced last year that he was doing this decentralized social media thing, decentralized stable coin thing PLUS the decentralized lending thing which he was already doing, I became increasingly more and more bullish on this $AAVE thing too. I finally got my profile in about July-ish and started to hoard $AAVE tokens as much as I could. I was not only going ALL IN on this web3 thing, but ALL IN on $AAVE specifically. Then I got to actually meet @stani and some of the @aaveaave team at this conference in Buenos Aires last August. I was excited to go to Buenos Aires last year as Argentina was becoming one of the countries with the most adoption of crypto in the world. Had been to Argentina before, but never to Buenos Aires, Idk why, it's so close for me. I was surprised by all the culture, art, people, and general vibe that was there. Truly an amazing place. Stayed for a couple of months. Highly recommend it, I can give you tips any day of the week for you nomad spirits. Went for the crypto, but stayed for the steaks. 🥩 Joking aside, the cool thing is, that now, thanks to tools like this built by @wav3s, I can still connect with all the people that I met there in all new and crazy ways. Lift up your glasses, this one is for the POAPs folks. People who mirror who have this Aave at ETH Latam POAP, will get the reward.
