📌 **When did your Lens journey start?**
So, my @lens/lens journey kicked off in September 2022, thanks to getting whitelisted by @lens/phaver. Back then, not only did my Lens odyssey start, but basically the whole crypto world was open to me for the first time thanks to Phaver and Lens.
I was such a noob back then, and that's why my Lens handle goes by 1_cryptoman. I had 0 experience in space and was thinking that minting 1_cryptoman handle would be fun. Nowadays, people really call me Cryptoman
📌 **What's your favorite thing about the Lens ecosystem?**
• Shipping from the Lens apps, I encountered a level of pure and friendly competition that I had never seen before in my life. I've always believed that healthy competition only serves to make you stronger, and that's the first thing I appreciate about the Lens ecosystem.
• Creators are leading the way. Since I joined the Lens ecosystem, more and more creators from different fields have jumped in, and this diversity is just amazing. There's a lot to learn. I'm very happy that a lot of creators started monetizing their art/content inside the Lens ecosystem.
• People!!! I cannot even describe how different we Lens people are from CT people. Well-educated, supportive, cool, and funny. It feels like a huge family. I found FRENS.
📌 **Your favorite Lens app?**
My favorite app is Phaver 🦄, the first app I open in the morning. As mentioned before, my crypto/web3 journey started with it. With Phaver, I realized how important it is to build a strong community, and I believe that the Phaver community is unmatched in the web3 space.
Phaver is a super app with a lot of potential to grow: It has a credibility system within Phaver points, Phaver-UP NFTs, a Creator program, and soon full farcaster integration. The team is investing in the community and creators a lot. Personally, I received support and a huge boost from Phaver, for which I will be forever grateful. Once Phaverian, always Phaverian.
Also, I use @lens/orb daily. After V2, it felt like I woke up in the year 3033. The UI/UX went to a new level. I'm always checking out art on Orb; for me, it has become a gallery of the dopest art. I also adore clubs; features like revenue and pinning posts are fire. There are a lot of musicians there.
When I use my laptop, I explore apps like @lens/hey, @lens/kaira, @lens/madfinanceHey.
I like the explore and tipping features in Hey; the feed algorithms are impressive, possibility to swap inside Hey is top top, also the gardening mode is super useful and needed.
Kaira is also very interesting to me; Kaira provides utility for many Lens native tokens like $Bonsai, $Fish, $Chaos, $Fries, etc. I need to understand how delegation and staking mechanisms work there.
Madfi is a platform I like because of the live streams and the ability to tip speakers. I'm eagerly waiting for the time when it will be possible to have more than three speakers at a time.
Huge shoutout to @lens/joonatan, @lens/nilesh, @lens/kipto, @lens/yoginth, @lens/mesutgulecen, and @lens/carlosbeltran , and to everyone who is building every day and shipping dope stuff for the people. You are complete Legends!
📌 **What are your expectations for the Lens ecosystem in 2024?**
In 2024, I expect the Lens ecosystem to experience significant growth, particularly with the integration of DeFi elements. This integration will likely attract a broader audience and enhance the functionality of the ecosystem.
Creators will undoubtedly play a more substantial role in shaping the ecosystem. As more talented artists join the Lens, we can anticipate a surge in creative content production. The healthy competition between creators will drive the bar higher for quality content, ultimately benefiting users with a richer and more diverse experience.
Furthermore, with the increasing popularity of video content consumption, I foresee a rise in video content within the Lens ecosystem. This could include more live streams, tutorials, stand-ups and immersive experiences, catering to the preferences of users who favor dynamic and engaging content formats.
I expect more competitive tokens that can pose significant competition to @lens/bonsai
I still can't believe the journey I've been on for over 1.5 years. Not so long ago, I joined @lens/monniverseofficial as a co-founder, embarking on a journey to gain real web3 experience by building a project filled with mermaids, tritons, and sea creatures alongside the one and only @@lens/cmn__ . Our community is incredibly strong and amazingly creative, soon we will make the biggest waves in the web3 ocean. For me, Phaver and Lens played a huge role in getting to this point in my life. Excited about everything the future will bring. LFG 🌊🌊🌊
