📍 Omis, Croatia 🇭🇷 At the very mouth of the Cetina River, where it meets the Adriatic Sea, lies Omiš – an ancient town that has retained its charm through the ages. I wouldn't have discovered Omiš so soon if it weren't for my adventurous friend, with whom I embarked on this vacation. It was her idea to take on the via ferrata to the top of Fortica Fortress. Never did I think I would include such an activity in a beach holiday, but hey, people change, and this turned out to be one of my most exhilarating seaside days. We slightly misjudged the timing, setting off on the via ferrata around 7 AM, which caused us to miss the planned 11 AM ferry to Hvar. However, every second was worth it.
