- I might be able to update my banner soon!
- ETH season and I am here for it! LFG.
- Is e.g. LDO dead if staking on Ethereum was capped at 25% of ETH supply?
- Just checking in to say I was there when the ETF was approved.
- Airdrops were a thing since $UNI. But Solana will start a new airdrop season with all the hype the ecosystem has gotten.
- Your favorite's rapper favorite rapper. That's basically Gnosis.
- This space is amazing. I have quite literally spent 30 mins in Solana in the past 12 months and will apparently get 2 airdrops (JTO and marginfi)... Like seriously?
- So last week this happened... I spent two hours with two Harris Hawks. Crazy experience!
- Yo Ray... hmmm... you good?
- Made the switch from geth to nethermind.
Client diversity matters! Geth has a 84% market share. If you run geth, switch to a minority client now!
- Crypto so dead, bottom must be near...
- Something something "minted an NFT" aka my second son was born last week <3
- Bright #29 - The Purple Dot.
The dot, the waves, the colors. Love everything about it!
- Staking on ETH is a one-way street, a few exits vs an "infinite" number of new validators. The supply shock will be epic.
- Ray might not be as fit as he used to be, but he is def gonna make it next cycle

- What's the issue with meme coins pushing gas to 50 gwei on average (again: only average for the last 7 days)?
I don't wanna argue if it makes sense that people speculate on these things and if people should be "allowed" to do these kind of transactions. Ethereum is neutral and hence it is of course okay people bid frog tokens.
But there is one issue here that I think is a bad indicator for ETH: If this happened on other networks (e.g. Solana, probably on Aptos, Sui etc. I don't even know how those work, if there is a fee market etc.) users probably wouldn't even know, cause fees would be stable or at least still very low.
I of course know that this has downsides, e.g. the missing fee market in Solana leads to attack vectors (spam) and outages. But in the end Solana is basically free to use. Doesn't matter if there are 10 ponzis more or less. If there were 10 ponzis on ETH, it is basically unusable for the majority of the users.
ETH has no marketing department, so I think ETH/ "we" will sadly lose a potential meme war with regards to high fees. Even with L2s that are of course here to stay and working it will be hard to communicate that "ETH is scaling". For us, using OP/ ARB /zksync is (basically) using Ethereum. For newcomers? I am not sure they would think the same. My best guess is that "What is this Arbitrum thing? I was told Ethereum is the best chain? Can I even use ETH there? This is not the same/ confusing/...!"
So tl;dr: I think until all of this is abstracted away, ETH will have a hard time communicating that ETH the network/blockchain and ETH the ecosystem are close to the same thing. Monolithic chains like Solana have a huge advantage from a communication point of view.
Shitpost: The high fees these days make me wanna buy SOL. And I hate that.
- At one point my club is going to kill me. The result of watching the derby at home, without moving...

- Every day twitter is a little more unusable.
Every day lens is little bit better.
- Arbitrum and Gainzy fucking up the same weekend, but Arbitrum is trying to clean up while Gainzy sticks to his believe that he didn't do anything wrong apart from his bad trades.
- If ETH is ultrasound from today on it is because of the 15 gwei transaction that apparently is going to be stuck forever...

- Did you notice? Now there are two major (O)RU token out there. So it's L223 season? Nope... ARB is not helping OP, but rather sucking the air out of the RU token market...

- There's a lot of AI hype these days. More than a year ago Impermanent Digital, a NFT project that uses AI to create new PFPs, opened their AI to all their users. I spent hours in Discord to create new stuff. These two pictures are my favorites.
- I think it's nearly impossible $ARB will go to 5$+. Reason: There are several rather huge user segments that receive 5 ETH or 10 ETH if that price hits. Obviously some will have sold by then, but still there will be a lot of sell pressure... IF 5$ is in the cards at all that is.
- BZRP 💜 (and I don't care about Shakira)
- I am (obviously?) in favor of decentralization. But I think people underestimate how hard it is to start something new and being decentralized from day 1 on. DeFi might be (rather) decentralized today, but it wasn't from the beginning and that's imo a necessary evil. A certain degree of centralization is necessary for speed, probably for funding, hiring, and much more.
- How the last months feel like.
- Some personal thoughts...
I think we all have our very personal lambo. For some it might really be a car, for others it might be the option to leave their job. There's a lot you could buy if ETH moons. My lambo is time with my family and especially my son.
My dad was born right after WWII. I think the first years of his life were tough, in a lot of ways, housing, food, etc. My grandpa wanted to become a doctor, but had to stop studying to work to make money for his small family. My father is kind of a result of that. His goal in life was that his family = me and my sister should always have food on our plates, good education, and everything we needed. Hence he worked his ass off and did a great job. But he's also kind of fitting the stereotype you might know: he was really working each day, every day. He didn't develop a lot of emotional/ social intelligence, no empathy. Didn't spend a lot of time with us.
At the same time I see a lot of people of my age that were raised with a lot of money that are assholes. They believe they are better because of their family/ money. Some of them are "successful" (but still assholes, their way of doing business and treating people is a means to make more money) others are just failing. I think money raises a lot of people in a very bad way.
Let me be very straight: I am scared of my family being the next one that will be changed by money. But at the same time ETH might be different. You can make generational wealth without working your ass off.
That's why my lambo is being able to raise my son in a way that allows us to profit of this one time chance without becoming assholes. I want to work like 20-30 hours a week, but also take him to his sport, spend time with him doing homework, do fun stuff my father couldn't do with me. I want to convert ETH into a healthy father-son-relationship.
