Differential Growth

- Content propagation question:
Is content produced by people your either directly following or people with many edges connecting to people you do follow get prioritized?
It feels like if an account has a lower follower count or is followed by people which don’t have high overlap your content is put on an island so to speak since crawlers will have significantly less signaling that your content is favorable to show to a given user.
How accurate it this take? I feel like I might be missing something.
- If you could build anything for the lens ecosystem, what would it be?
- Waffles and coffee ❤️
- Yoyoing on the N train is my new hobby

- Cottage core? 😊
- From some quick back of napkin math on web3 programming content to other programming content on youtube the deltas show web3 content doesn't stand a chance in the broader technology landscape if youtube engagement is a useful metric of health.
If you search on youtube for programming content you are met with token speculations and hodl culture. Is this representative of the culture? A sign perhaps the larger ecosystem is prioritizing a different form of web3? Do we value the space for the value it produces and encorge others to build in tangable ways? or are we here to hold token in the chase of a passive income model? This doesnt even touch on how over all engagement is a trickle from a faucet compared to the rest of the technology landscape. Is this a solvable problem or is the culture too far gone to recover?
TLDR: Token speculation trends higher than programming tutorials when trying to procure educational content on how to build Web3 space at large.
- Older video of a little tech combo I did a while back. Cover photo is of a new yo-yo that just came in today for practicing off string. Is anyone interested in me documenting my off string learning?
