- there has been a lot of eth wallets drained of funds recently. some say its stolen private keys from the lastpass leak, others say its signing unknown signatures on metamask. how to prevent this? what is good wallet hygiene?
create your seed phrases offline, never write it on google docs, icloud, telegram etc.
wallet hygiene
wallet1: only holds tokens, send only, receive only, no smart contract interactions
wallet2: only interacts with known blue chip protocols uniswap, aave, curve etc. this is the wallet you do your LP, farming, buying, selling and lenster with.
wallet3: degen. buy, send, sign, bridge, mint free nfts and try out different protocols for airdrops. this is the tax nightmare wallet with thousands of tx and less focus on safety.
