- Hey anon, hey!
Hey @lensprotocol family! We are excited to announce our brand new home, https://hey.xyz!
**Why the change?**
Because we wanted to re-introduce ourselves as the one-stop shop for all things Lens. we will be continuing to showcase the latest features from the protocol while listening to our community for what they want to see next.
We will be exploring communities, open actions, and whole new ways you, your NFTs, and the DAOs you’re a part of can benefit from web3 social powered by Lens. This is just the beginning, so thanks for stopping by, and saying hey!

- Over the upcoming 20 days, we're embarking on a journey to craft another fresh, mind-blowing game on Lens.
And, we will be absolutely stoked to have you along for the ride if you are a dev, a #buildoor, a game enthusiast, or someone who is just a curious learner.
From the inception to the launch, you'll get an inside look on how we build decentralized hyper-casual games with social features. Here's our first set of nominees.

We further urge you to nominate your peers who you think would be interested to be a part of the @thefriendly family. Let's take off!

- A few months ago @punkess.lens and @pedrovilela.lens and I created a Discord with the purposes of curating/fostering app ideas and support for devs who are interested in building on Lens but aren't quite sure where to start. We haven't done anything with it yet and I haven't talked to either of them about this, but I would like to see if I can get some measurable public feedback first.
Below is the type of content and discussions I envision having on our server. If this resonates with or interests you **please collect this post as a sign of interest in joining our Discord server**:

Thinking of Apps as Components is the easiest way to get started. With Lens everyone is using the same shared database. So any app (or its data) can become a feature or component of other apps. Personally I think the absolute easiest place to start is with an app that rates a user's preference. Let users rate movies, food, coffee, etc. These types of apps can be used for other apps which sort by these ratings. Here's a quick list of example "rating" apps:
**Foodie Favorites:** Gastronomy
**Fashionista:** Fashion
**Rate My Recipe:** Cooking
**Vacation Vibes:** Travel
**Pet Parade:** Pets
**Movie Maven:** Movies
**Music Maestro:** Music
**Bookworm's Bounty:** Literature
**Gaming Guru:** Gaming
**Art Admirer:** Art
**Interior Inspirations:** Interior Design
**Tech Trends:** Technology
**Fitness Fanatics:** Fitness
**Coffee Connoisseur:** Coffee
**Wine Wisdom:** Wine
**Eco Evaluator:** Sustainability
**Sports Spectator:** Sports
**Learning Ladder:** Education
**Event Explorer:** Events
**Natural Wonders:** Outdoors
Dating apps are always my go-to example for combining the above data, but here's another one: **Dinner & A Movie** -- This app could take the data from **Movie Maven** and **Foodie Favorites** and feed it to an AI model which can then figure out a suitable dinner and movie pairing, all based on the user's preferences from the previous apps.** Then **Dinner & A Movie** data could be used in a photography app that challenges people to post photos of the dinner they made with the movie that was recommended.
Start small and focused. Developing Apps as Components allows for faster growth in a shared environment, whether it's GitHub or Lens.
