Have a great weekend #lens
- I just got schooled by an anon on discord on the topic of Account Abstraction. He clearly understood the topic in depth and explained everything i asked in good detail. He shared his GitHub and had a very lively conversation about one of the smart contracts there. Then i saw he says in he's profile he's 16 😅
- Hi #lens fam
I started extropy.io's expert solidity bootcamp today. Course started strong! Wish me luck and patience 🤞

Has anyone here been on bluesky? I'd like to hear some opinion. Also wouldn't say no to any invites 😄

Like every other dev, I've been using chatgpt in various ways to improve my productivity.
During various screenshares, people have commented "But you are so polite to the AI!". Hmmm 🤔 If or when the time comes, you want to be the one that has been polite to the AI all this time anon, don't you?
- Blockchain technology is the best tool we have for reaching Chomsky's vision [ https://lenster.xyz/posts/0xa7cc-0x73 ] of a decentralized socio-economical system, which would require secure, transparent, and tamper-resistant record-keeping.
Of course, noone could have foreseen in 1971 the rise of blockchains. Today we have the tools to reach such a complex vision. This would indeed, imo, provide humans with more space to manifest their potential. The time is very fertile to bring these changes to the mainstream.
Don't forget to thank your favorite blockchain/protocol builders on this fine day! Thank you @lensprotocol , thank you @aaveaave.lens 🙂
- Noam Chomsky, 1971:
"... a fundamental element of human nature is the need for creative work, for creative inquiry, for free creation without the arbitrary limiting effects of coercive institutions [...] **a federated decentralized system of free associations incorporating economic as well as social institutions** [...] seems to be the appropriate form of social organization for an advanced technological society, in which, human beings do not have to be forced into position of tools [...] in which the creative urge intrinsic to human nature will be able to realize itself..."
From the debate of Chomsky and Foucault that took place in the Eindhoven University of Technology in 1971. A video containing excerpts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpVQ3l5P0A4
- Gm everyone!
Just trying to see if this post will to through.. have been struggling all weekend 😔
- Gm #lens,
can't seem to post today. Will this go through?
- The US government started selling the Bitcoin they have seized from Silk Road over the years:
https://twitter.com/tier10k/status/1641821284341280768
In particular, the first chunk was sold on March 14th. Nevertheless, that daily candle closed green.
- I haven't said gm in a while so...
Gm #lens crew
- Gm #NFT enthusiasts,
a bit of personal news:
Last week, I passed my exam for META511: NFTs and the Metaverse MOOC offered last fall semester by the University of Nicosia. This is the first in-metaverse on-chain academic course ever!!!
Organized and run by Professor Giaglis [ https://twitter.com/giaglis ], a irl professor of the university and 6529 [ https://twitter.com/punk6529 ] one of the most influential persons in the NFT world and (imho) a modern-day philosopher. Lots of very influential NFTers appeared in the panels or even taught parts of the course. The course description and a list of all the live sessions can be found here:
https://www.unic.ac.cy/openmetaverse/mooc-nfts-metaverse/
I can't express how proud I am to have been part of this. I spent a dozen years of my life in academia and going back to the (virtual!) desk for this provided nothing short of an amazing experience!
PS I am still, at 35, an über-nerd and scored 98% on the exam 😃
Patiently waiting next week to mint the certificate of completion, which, of course will be an NFT.
- Gm #lens fam,
We got a quiet weekend! Shouldn't complain but i was used to the madness ☺️
Have a great week everyone
- The weekend is starting and you what that means.
Time for ski and bank liquidations.
- The #Arbitrum sequencer today:
- Hi #lens fam -
been monitoring the Arbitrum claims. Some info for the first hours:
- The official site went down immediately. Vercel was not able to support the traffic at these levels.
- Arbiscan ALSO went down 😮
- After Arbiscan was half-up the default Metamask RPC was constantly at rate limit, so not able to process any transactions.
- At the same time Alchemy.com was down 😮 😮 (because everyone was trying to create alt RPCs for themselves)
- After arbiscan was a bit more functional and Metamask default RPC also, then the Arbitrum Sequencer went down 😮 😮
omg
- I just signed the Glass Manifesto and got early access to claim The Glass Pass. See you on @glassxyz.lens :

- I've been hearing way too often in the last week swiss bankers saying that Satoshi's vision is being realized this days..
On one hand I love it, on the other hand it scares me. What do you guys think 🤔
- It's not every day that a >150yo bank with half a Trillion assets under management has to be bought and rescued on the weekend, before Monday markets open. From their main competititor and with the help of the national bank.
I wonder if this is history we are witnessing. Satoshi's vision in full force.
- UBS just agreed to buy CS for over 2B, on a Sunday evening before the markets open on Monday.

- China is cutting the reserve requirement for banks by 25bps. This increases the capability of banks to lend to people. Over 70B USD (500B CNY) expected to be released from this move.

As usual, nfa, I'm a dev not a financier.
- Gm #lens frens,
I'll be attending Ethereum Zürich as a hacker!
https://ethereumzuri.ch/
Drop me a dm of you'd like to connect irl there and especially if you want to exchange ideas for the hackathon 🫡
- This morning I talked about Ethereum Layer 2's for a whole hour to the board of my company. They were excited af and asked lots of questions.
- Two different high-profile banking professionals told me today that "...it feels like Satoshi's vision is realized."
- This is Lenny
- Very interesting theory on the possible effect of interconnectivity to liquidity crises, by Eric Wall:

- Many frens have been calling me this weekend asking if it is now a risk-on activity to keep fiat in their bank account.
It always was fren! But minimizing risk exposure has been admittedly getting more and more complex recently.
- My right hand, the one of reason, wants to buy all usdc below 90c.
My left hand, the one of the heart bought BTC and ETH instead.
NFA, i know nothing and i enjoy feeding the market makers

- Gm #lens and a great weekend to everyone!
PS I have intense fomo for missing NFT Paris 🫠
- Hi #lens , what do we think on the upcoming zkEVM L2s of zkSync and Polygon?
Besides the scalability benefit, I know the possibility of private transactions and holdings is very exciting for the institutions I'm working with.
Is this possibility exciting for you? Is it important for the average anon who likes to DeFi?
- Gm #lens 🌎
A great weekend for everyone!
- zkSync is opening the mainnet and going open source today. This is huge news.
I applaude their efforts and fully support their mission and ethos. Can't wait to see what we'll be able to buidl on of their platform soon.

- Can someone explain to me what is the importance of Bitcoin Ordinals?
Also some technical information on how they work would be awesome, as it feels like it might be connected to their importance.
- Gm fellow Lensters, enjoy your weekends 😄

The response to my genesis post has been overwhelming. Thank you all!
- Well, twitter is down.
But lens is up.
Hey everybody. 👋
- Hi #lens friends,
This is my "hello world" post!
I'm a dev lead based in Switzerland, working hard to bring traditional finance institutions to public blockchains. It is exactly as hard as it sounds, but we've made a lot of progress in the last year.
I'm here to follow developments in the space, ask questions and make a few friends along the way.
Please connect and say hi!
