During my 2nd travel to Europe (https://lensport.io/p/54180_598) I visited quite a lot of Italian cities: Turin, Milan, Venice, Murano, Burano, Rivoli, Susa, Florence, Siena, Assissi, Pisa, Rome, Salerno, Fisciano, Benevento, Baronissi…
However, 2012’s travel had a different impact than in 2011’s one. While in 2011 I was walking as a zombie due to the amazement and drawing with electricity to capture every detail around me, in 2012 I travelled and perceived things with more calm.
I remember to have taken all the needed time for every drawing. Thanks to that my sketches started to be more detailed and complete, right as it was my perception of every visited place and city.
The complexity of my expression also changed: I managed the colours and the shadows with a different criteria, maybe more mature than just one year before. Today’s drawing at Verona’s Piazza delle Erbe whitnesses all that change (yes, the same Verona in which I met E. https://lenster.xyz/posts/0xd3a4-0x01b5).
The reason behind this change was my purpose: I was convinced to be back in Europe soon, and to stay longer, much longer… And indeed, in November 2013 I landed in Italy and since then I’m still living in Europe.
