I wanted to try something new. This will be my first music release here on lens. It's an early demo of my song "This Song" which came out in 2017. I probably wrote this on the road around 2015/2016. It has a lot of the final ideas, but totally different type of beat. This is what I showed Rostam, and we built from there. Posting and managing content on Lens is an entirely different ball game. User journeys and content distribution is different than web2 social (1 handle for all vs 1 handle 1 app). One process that we are just figuring out at The Symmetrical is posting videos. On the one hand, we want to use @wav3s.lens to make it a superpost but on the other hand, we want to have it on @lenstube.lens where all our video content should exist. If we use the @wav3s.lens interface, the video won't be available on Lenstube so we will need to double-post. Right now what we will be doing is use @wav3s.lens to promote our roast with a short vid and only later post the full vid on Lenstube. I feel like we still have to compromise here a lot, and I think there should be more documentation around these novel user journeys so we can all learn best practices. The other option is to build a tool for content distribution.
