**`114 . Paradoxes (I)`** Pencil and creative breakfast 24/04/2023, Berlin, Germany 🇩🇪 Have you realised that the word "breakfast" is composed by "break" and "fast"? I wonder if the terms come from "a fast break" (i.e., a quick pause) or from "break the fast" (i.e., stop starving!)... In any case, this is a lapsus paragraph, isn't really connected with today's drawing... Or maybe it is, because this morning I started the creative breakfast at 11, which is super late for what I use, so when I arrived to Someone Loves You I wanted to break my fast fast 🤣. Today J. and Ti. didn't join, but Th. yes. She painted one of her drawings and I started a new one. The new drawing is an equirectangular perspective in which I want to bring some of the "escherian" explorations that I have been doing (like this: https://lenster.xyz/posts/0xd3a4-0x0513 and this: https://lenster.xyz/posts/0xd3a4-0x0504 ). However, I realised one small detail that will make things not so easy, there is an incongruence that I will need to solve: The problem is that escherian explorations use isometric perspective, i.e., all equal sides in space have the same size in the drawing. In a classical conical perspective this is not true: equal segments in space can look smaller or bigger depending their position regarding the observer. António: you are always walking 100 m. ahead of me, so if you read this do not give me the solution, this is amazing brain food and I want to try to get it by myself 😏 But tell me dear reader, What is your interpretation of breakfast?
