- what's the secret here? 🤔😉
- Yesterday, I had the opportunity to visit PERMAFUNGI and witness their innovative sustainability practices.
One of their interesting methods involves recycling harvested coffee grounds to grow oyster mushrooms, demonstrating an excellent example of circular economy in action.
In addition to this, PERMAFUNGI is also contributing to reducing plastic waste by creating biodegradable materials that can be used in construction and ecodesign projects. (it has sound isolation properties)
It's inspiring to see companies like PERMAFUNGI taking tangible steps towards a more sustainable future. 🌿🌿🌿
The company is based in Brussels, Belgium.

- Over the next decade, demand for knowledge workers will continue to diminish.
But not at the highest level.
Education is still critical, and AI will augment our learning journeys.
👇 Let me explain.
For the next decade (maybe shorter), you can think of AI as "statistics on steroids."
It is constantly predicting responses based on all the data it has been fed previously.
Knowing this, the flaw becomes apparent. At this time in history, AIs have a hard time with situations they have never seen before.
In 2016, AI was said to have surpassed human Go players by defeating the world Go champions.
However, just this year, some amateurs decided to try to beat these top bots by making "poor" moves the AI had never seen before, and they were able to consistently win 14/15 games.

Standford Artificial Intelligence Research in Education (AIRE) director Dr. Li Jiang says:
"Humans are better at zero to one"
Knowing this, we need to continue to focus on education because we need to be the ones to push AI into the next phase, where it can be better than humans at creating things that have never been seen before.
- So, fossil fuels will pretty much end in 50-80 years from now. How do we feel about it?

- yeah Kuwait looks like it will be in balls deep if they don’t diversify their economy
- I checked online, and oil revenues are less than what I was expecting in some of the Middle East countries.
Climate change could be a problem too, but maybe we won't be there then.
- I wouldn't be worried about the Middle East, for example, historically Dubai never directly relied on oil revenue, rather on tourism (but in directly of course for sure)
- nice to hear that, we truly belive that Lens could bring more users outside of web3 over the long run
- Using #Lens is the first real utility of crypto I've found in the last 3 years of my crypto journey.

- **It's my 28th birthday, and wow, this is my first post on Lens!**
How did it take me so long to get here?
Well, never too late I guess.
So here I am. I'm Violetta, I'm 28 years old, I'm from Italy and I'm a singer-songwriter. I act in movies sometimes, but music is life. In the past year I dropped about 9K music NFTs - I feel alive again 🔥
I want to meet the Lens community and learn from you guys. Who's active? 🍃
I'll start. Here's my favorite I've written, Never, Rarely, Sometimes, Always - one of the songs that changed my life ♥️

- Hot take: Ads are not a bad business model, its the current ads model on internet that is broken. Well designed amplification network serves and helps
the users to learn and discover new ideas and rewards those who have the art of amplification. Your are in control of your audience relationship and its up to you what you serve and share to your audience, no innovation that builds better amplification networks on Lens can be stopped because Lens is an open protocol. Its up to the users and integrators to choose what to serve 🌿
