- This upcoming Saturday, I'm giving the opening keynote for The Art of Protocols, a conference during Art Basel Switzerland by Outland.
I'll be walking people through several salient examples of artworks that utilize protocols as a medium. What does this mean? Like you use a paintbrush, or a generative engine, people use protocols as materials to create their art with.
One of the examples I'll be giving is Premna Daemon (2018) by @lens/terra0 - a bonsai tree that issued payouts to people that looked after it.
