The joint CEO of Pinduoduo faces three major challenges.
On April 4th, Pinduoduo announced its latest personnel appointment: co founder Zhao Jiazhen will serve as the executive director and co CEO, partnering with Chen Lei to jointly manage the company's business.
The public's surprise at this news is no less than another personnel change in Pinduoduo two years ago: Huang Zheng resigned as the chairman of Pinduoduo, and Chen Lei, who had just succeeded as CEO in July 2020, took over the important role of chairman.
Even for many people familiar with Pinduoduo, the name Zhao Jiazhen is still slightly unfamiliar.
