- Here is an updated airdrop strategy guide covering both Layerzero and zkSync.
I have structured this thread in two parts and it covers 3 main dapps on each platform.
So by trying out these total 6 dapps, you will be prepared enough for the $ZRO and $ZKS airdrops.
A thread🧵
Index:
🔮 Why I think there is still time. [Tweet 1-2]
♾️ LayerZero Airdrop Strategy. [Tweet 3-6]
🔛 zkSync Strategy. [Tweet 7-10]
Airdrop eligibility is mostly influenced by transaction count, amount, and duration, so the number of Dapps you try is not the key factor.
1/10
Why do I think there is still time?
• Snapshot for these airdrops was done roughly 30 days before the announcement:
- Arbitrum (38 days)
- Optimism (32 days)
• According to Matter Labs CEO, zkSync's $ZKS token will launch in approx 1 year.
• Also, $ZRO launch is confirmed.
2/10
Before we start, note that most of this is speculation and nothing is 100% confirmed. So try at your own risk.
I have divided the thread into easy-to-understand step-wise modules.
Each strategy covers the 3 main dapps.
So... LFG 🚀
3/10
♾️ LayerZero Airdrop Strategy.
- It's a messaging protocol that helps in passing messages or data across different chains.
- The main products built using this tech are bridges.
Let's try the dapps.
4/10
1. Use Stargate.
‣ Transfer from one EVM chain to other.
‣ I prefer swapping between BNB, Arbitrum, Optimism and Polygon. (low fees)
‣ You can try the stake feature and stake some $STG (Optional IMO, as the main product is bridge).
🔗 Link: https://stargate.finance/transfer
5/10
2. Use Aptos Bridge.
‣ Use the transfer feature.
‣ Transfer assets(USDC, USDT) between APTOS and other EVM chains.
‣ I prefer Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism and BNB due to low gas fee.
🔗 Link: https://theaptosbridge.com/bridge
6/10
3. Buying some $GETH on testnet bridge.
‣ Use the bridge.
‣ Buy some goerli ETH using ETH.
‣ I prefer Arbitrum & Optimism due to low gas fee.
🔗 Link: https://testnetbridge.com/
7/10
🔛 zkSync Airdrop Strategy.
- Zksync is a ZK layer 2 rollup, whereas optimism and arbitrum are optimistic layer 2 rollups.
- The average past day TPS on zkSync has reached 11+, surpassing arbitrum and optimism.
- In this strategy I will focus mainly on the ERA version as I think it makes no sense to try lite as of now.
Let's jump on to the dapps...
8/10
1. Use the main bridge.
‣ Bridge to zkSync ERA.
‣ The only chain available as of now is ethereum.
‣ So the gas fee will be high.
🔗 Link: https://bridge.zksync.io/
9/10
2. Using Orbiter Finance.
‣ Now by using this dapp, we can also target the orbiter token which is confirmed and yet to launch.
‣ So, use the bridge to move assets to zkSync era.
‣ I prefer arbitrum and optimism as the gas fee for bridging is very low on both.
🔗 Link: https://www.orbiter.finance/
10/10
3. Swapping on Syncswap.
‣ They also have a confirmed $SYNC native token, which is yet to be launched.
‣ Swap using the dex dapp.
‣ You can also add liquidity in the pools, which is should be taken as optional IMO.

And thats the end of this thread!

- Feedback for Lens clients, it feels super uncomfortable to have an unlimited depth of comments and having to clic to see the full convo.
It should be fixable on the frontend!

- Guitar Fundamentals: Fingerpicking 101
Re-upload from YouTube - hope this helps some of you on your guitar journey! Comment if you're interested in private lessons :)
1. Get a metronome.
2. Make sure you’re holding your guitar properly. Anchor your right hand/arm or forearm on the guitar to make sure your hand stays steady. This will help you control your fingers.
Check your thumb position.
3. Pick a chord that you’re comfortable with for fingerpicking exercise #1. Set your metronome to a comfortable tempo (60-70bpm) and play through the chord with quarter and eighth notes picking with thumb, index, middle and ring fingers.
4. Incorporate additional chords into your practice routine. Ideally try to switch between chords with root notes on different strings (i.e G, C, F)
5. Mix things up by incorporating more complex picking patterns and trying these exercises at different tempos.
6. Subscribe to my channel for more videos like this one!
