- Collecting NFTs is different to collecting vinyl. Actually, it is best for the artist if their NFT is traded on the secondary market. Then they makes extra money from it. Collecting vinyl, in traditional terms, is like collecting paintings, or sculptures. Paintings and sculptures can be looked at, they can be admired and over time they gain in value (not all and not always). Vinyls have the same, you can look at them, you can admire them and you can listen to them. Listening to vinyl doesn't cause a drop in quality oddly enough, a Polish scientist Boguslaw Ziębowicz from the Katowice Polytechnic, and privately a friend of mine, conducted an experiment and proved that even a vinyl record listened to 250 times shows no signs of a drop in sound quality. Just as looking at sculputre or paintings does not destroy them, listening to vinyl does not wear it out. Remember, however, that vinyl should be handled with care
carefully. My preference is to collect investment vinyl. Just like art and paintings. My collection grows in value, every year it gives me more fun to own it and listen to it, and by the way, sometimes I sell records I no longer listen to and buy better speakers for example. Collecting vinyl is a passion that pays off. I have been dealing with vinyl professionally for more than 15 years, I know well what to invest in and what will not be 'mega rare' in 5 or 10 years.
There will be another time about NFT collecting. Have a good day Society! Why are you buying records, vinyl or nFT, what are the main reasons for collecting?

- 📉 Decline in Lens Protocol Activity: A Wake-Up Call 📉
Hello, everyone, dear members of Lens Protocol. Today, I want to discuss a topic that concerns us all: the recent decline in activity on Lens.
📊 Observed Data 📊
Over the past few months, I've noticed some concerning trends:
📉 Posts have decreased by 21.65%
📉 Comments have dropped by 12.87%
📉 Mirrors have fallen by 28.71%
(Compared to the previous 30 days)
These numbers are alarming for the platform and all of us who contribute to its ecosystem.
❓ What's Happening? ❓
I don't have all the answers, but I would like to start a conversation about some of the possible reasons behind this decline:
- Has the quality of the content changed?
- Are new platforms capturing the users' attention?
- Is having a waiting list affecting the activity of the network?
I remember @stani mentioning that social networks are a party, and we need to take care of the participants at the party. Are we getting bored with this party?
📣 Call to Action 📣
This is a call to the community and the developers to discuss and address these concerns.
We are all here because we believe in the potential and vision of Lens Protocol. To keep this ecosystem alive, it's crucial that we tackle these issues head-on and collectively.

- We are thrilled to announce we have collaborated with Coinbase Wallet and @xmtp_.lens. With this integration, Lens Protocol users can now message directly within Coinbase Wallet.
Interoperability is more than just a buzzword in the Web3 space; it's a fundamental building block. Lens users can message directly from Coinbase Wallet and keep their conversations going fluidly with their friends on Lens apps such as @orbapp.lens, @lenster.lens and @buttrfly.lens.
Additionally, if you have a Lens handle you can easily search your friends directly from your Coinbase Wallet via their .lens handle to send messages and crypto assets.
At Lens, we envision a future where digital wallets transcend their traditional roles, becoming social and multiplayer platforms that foster interaction and community. This vision is at the heart of our integration with Coinbase Wallet and XMTP.

- 📍Harajuku, Tokyo, Japan 🇯🇵
Harajuku is not just a part of Tokyo; it's a way of life, and that's why it deserves a special post.
Apart from everything being pink and pastel, everything here is so fluffy. Harajuku is famous for its animal cafes, where people can socialize with various animals. These cafes emerged from the Japanese people's need for contact with animals they often can't have in their apartments due to limited space. After work, they come here to unwind and relieve the stress of the day. Today, there are more and more cafes, partly due to the increasing number of tourists. You can find cafes with dogs, cats, raccoons, owls, and even penguins. But before you go, it's essential to choose a cafe with animals that are typically kept as pets. There are significant controversies surrounding such places, raising ethical questions. If you're interested in this topic, you can explore more on the internet.
We decided to visit a hedgehog cafe called Harry, which has positive reviews regarding their treatment of animals. The hedgehogs there are African pygmy hedgehogs, commonly kept as pets. Thirty minutes of bonding with them costs around 15 euros, and the staff is very strict when it comes to interacting with the hedgehogs. To touch them, you need to sanitize your hands and use special gloves. Each table has two hedgehogs, and most of the time, they're sleeping since hedgehogs are more active at night.
I also saw an albino hedgehog for the first time, and it fell asleep in my hands. We got so caught up playing with them that we didn't even have time to enjoy the drink included in the price. So, we headed to the top of the "Tokyo Plaza" shopping center for coffee, where you feel like you're in a forest, a complete contrast to its futuristic entrance (last two photos).
And to conclude our day of exploration, we indulged in a childhood treat, cotton candy, which can be found here in any color you can imagine. Takeshita Street is the main hub for souvenir shopping, waffles, pancakes, ice cream, and clothing. It's a vibrant and colorful paradise that will leave you with a smile on your face. 🌈🍦💕
