- Hi
- Vintage Maker
If you’re into 70’s soul and funk, you might have heard of “Vintage Maker”, the ingenious musical innovator who's taken the world by storm with his groundbreaking invention, the Vinterator. This self-made computer/synth marvel has earned him a reputation as a modern-day wizard, able to produce astonishingly accurate clones of iconic vintage keyboards, such as the Hammond B3 and Fender Rhodes, the clavinet, and more.
Born with an insatiable curiosity and a passion for all things vintage, Vintage Maker's journey began as he sought to preserve the unique sounds of classic keyboards that had captivated him from a young age. Meticulously studying the intricacies of these iconic instruments, he set out to create his magnum opus: the Vinterator.
The Vinterator, a remarkable fusion of cutting-edge technology and vintage charm, allows Vintage Maker to flawlessly replicate the distinct sounds and nuances of legendary keyboards. With this powerful tool at his fingertips, he has single-handedly resurrected the golden age of keyboard music, delighting fans and musicians alike.
Vintage Maker's debut album, "The Vinterator Chronicles," showcases his extraordinary talent for breathing new life into the sounds of yesteryear. Featuring tracks such as "Retro Resurrection," "Nostalgic Nebula," and "Timeless Tones," the album is a veritable time machine, transporting listeners back to the heyday of the Hammond B3, Fender Rhodes, and beyond.
As Vintage Maker continues to push the boundaries of musical innovation with his Vinterator, his unwavering dedication to preserving the legacy of vintage keyboards has earned him a place in the annals of music history. In a world where the allure of the past often clashes with the promise of the future, Vintage Maker serves as a shining example of how the two can coexist in perfect harmony.

- How to grow your Lens account (0 to 500 followers).
Tip #1: What works for big accounts doesn't work for you.
Simple like this.
How many of us are disappointed because what we produce is not noticed, while low-quality content by big accounts gets a lot of comments, likes, mirrors, and collects?
Life could be unfair, but not on this matter.
Big accounts have extensive attention because their content goes to a broader community by default.
A decent or even lousy post could be enough for them to get attention.
So, don't copy strategies from accounts with more visibility than yours. Understand that you are different.

- Nobody asked, but here’s my 2 MATIC (with a 20% referral fee) on the evolution of online interactions:
There once was a time when the “like” (👍) was the be-all and end-all in terms of measuring content effectiveness.
In the early days of social media, "likes" played a significant role in determining a post's popularity and reach. This was particularly true on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, where users could easily show their approval of a post by clicking the "like" button.
Likes were seen as ~thee~ measure of social validation. They also played a role in determining which content was promoted on a user's newsfeed or discover page, as posts with more likes were given priority 📈
However, in recent years, many social media platforms have started to de-emphasize likes as a measure of success. Some have even experimented with hiding like counts altogether in an effort to reduce the pressure on users to seek validation through likes and to promote more authentic engagement.
The goalposts of metrics are changing.
Vanity out. Value in.
Web2 platforms like Instagram and TikTok began treating content that had a high save to like ratio more favorably in terms of the algorithm.
And you know what’s better than a save (which is essentially a glorified bookmark)?
A collect. (Especially when it’s paid.)
This is the future of social media.
Even those on web2 social are catching on.
We’re no longer just interacting for the sake of interacting.
The possibility for more intentional responses encourages more intentional creation. And more intentional creation contributes to a value exchange that fosters a self-sustaining ecosystem ♻️
Here’s the desired hierarchy specific to #Lens:
#Collect - I need to own it
#Mirror - I need others to see it
#Comment - I need to share my opinion about it
#Like - This resonates
Do you see how little the L compares to the MCC in terms of existence?
Now, not every piece of content we make is necessarily created for the sake of attracting a lot of engagement or for making a lot of money. And to an extent, likes will always matter to one degree or another because they help indicate how much said content resonates with one's audience.
But it’s interesting to see the role value plays and what value means when both creators and collectors can engage on social media in ways that have not been possible previously.
I’m excited to continue to explore this relationship on @lensprotocol and I’m grateful for everyone who’s here now on the journey.
What kind of value are you hoping to bring to and find on Lens?
#socialmedia #web3social #LMCC @creators.lens #content #lensprotocol #nfts #monetization #twitter #facebook #instagram #creators #collectors #ecosystem #value
- @mixtape.lens will you do the honors of the first post?
https://diversehq.xyz/l/mixtape
- a lot Markus (like you and i ;-)), the idea of the list is not to show every person on lens sharing valuable content. But to have entries to communities. One example: I added @lufoart.lens and @huugo.lens today to the list representing "architecture". Of course they are not the only people on lens talking about architecture and related topics, nor am I an expert to know who the most knowledgeable people, creating the best architecture related content on lens, are. But I think both will comment and mirror content of people who are active and share relevant content :-). I hope that makes sense.
(And of course it's only my point of view, as always I might be wrong and miss a ton -> I'm more than happy for every feedback and suggestions 🙏 )
- Whenever I take a break, markets crash, so no surprise there!
Fret not, anon; I've beckoned the golden bull to reawaken and return. We'll rendezvous next week. Enjoy until then!

- **"Silent Sorrow: The Lonely Jedi”**
(max 20 collects, to support my gas fees).
Please Read on! 👇
Hello from the #Gas Jail!
I minted my #Lens profile in July 2022. Early on, I’ve interacted with the few available Lens apps intermittently. However, starting in 2023, specifically after all the twitter dramas, I have significantly ramped up my interactions in the Lens ecosystem.
So far, I’ve tried and interacted on **25 different apps and utilities in the #lensverse** in an attempt to explore & help the ecosystem grow.
I try and engage in meaningful discussions, games, & support creators and their creations via mirrors and collects. What I do not do is spam the ecosystem with repetitive or single word posts.
I was surprised to find myself on the other side of the #GasJail couple of days ago, meaning I can no longer post/collect/comment/mirror without paying gas fees on Lenster and I cannot use @Orb, @Buttrfly, @Phavar or other socials app in the Lens ecosystem. I did try to get in touch with team members and had raised several queries in Lens discord without success.
Whilst the gas fees is not prohibitively high, they do add up. And it’s not a question of $, but the question of fairness. If the protocol cannot cope, you can try:
🌿 Implementing a maximum number of interactions per day for All Account
🌿Restricting repetitive and single word posts/comments
🌿 Restricting number of mirrors on posts. With less than 100k active users, post visibility is not critical yet.
🌿Charging gas on posts with paid collects
It is understandable that the platform’s priority is heavily skewed towards content creators. But that does not justify putting up a paywall for the rest of the community. And ironically, when I scroll through my feed, I do not see any less amount of “low quality” posts, meaning the algorithm is not necessarily targeting the right accounts.
I will try and limit my engagements until the issue is resolved. Hope we get a solution soon.
Have a great day everyone!

- 🚀 Exciting news! I Just found out today how TraderJoe v2 is revolutionizing pool liquidity management compared to Uniswap v3.
With Uniswap, you have to distribute your liquidity equally across your chosen price range. However, with TraderJoe, each segment of your position (or bin) is its own NFT, managed separately from the others. This allows you to fully customize the shape of your position based on your unique strategies.
But that's not all! You can also partially withdraw your position based on range instead of amount. Let me explain myself better: imagine you have deposited in ETH/USDC pool with a range of 1500-2000 and the price of ETH rises from 1600 to 1900, now you might not want to be exposed anymore to ETH at 1600-1700 because the price has moved and it is not likely that it will return there (making your liquidity there effectively useless). In this case, in univ3 you would have to close your old position, and re-open a new one keeping in mind that now that you have changed the range, the ratio of tokens you should deposit is different. But in the case of TraderJoe v2 you can simply withdraw liquidity only from the bins corresponding to price 1600-1700, leaving your position in the other bins intact!
This new approach improves the life of LPs and has so much room for creativity and strategy. Why aren't we talking about it more? We can't wait to see how it will continue to revolutionize the space. 🌟
- F. Schubert - Impromptu Op.142 (D.935) No.3 in B flat Major
The first piece that I played during the Roxbury Series Recital. Schubert is one of my favorite composers! Schubert's melodies possess a song-like quality that is both tender and touching, with an elegant charm that captivates the listener. When I play Schubert I always imagine a voice singing in my head. The fact that he composed over 500 vocal pieces is a testament to his genius. Can you hear the song-like features of this piece? It's truly enchanting!

- I wanted to try something new.
This will be my first music release here on lens.
It's an early demo of my song "This Song" which came out in 2017. I probably wrote this on the road around 2015/2016. It has a lot of the final ideas, but totally different type of beat. This is what I showed Rostam, and we built from there.
It's unfinished and unpolished but it's kinda fun to look back at where ideas originated.
