- Layer2's well-deserved leading project: Arbitrum has finally announced its token launch. As we all know, Arbitrum and Optimism both use the same Layer2 technology. After Optimism launched its token last year, its ecosystem projects experienced significant growth, including TVL and the base chain jointly launched with Coinbase. Before launching its token, Arbitrum's TVL was already more than twice that of Optimism's, and Arb has many native projects such as GMX, GNS, Treasure, Radiant, Camelot etc., which are unmatched by Op.
Arbitrum raised a total of $157M in funding with $3.7M in seed round and $120M in seed B round from well-known institutions such as Polychain Capital and Lightspeed Ventures as well as notable individuals like Mark Cuban (owner of Dallas Mavericks).
The initial total supply of Arbitrum is 10 billion, with 42.78% allocated to the Arbitrum DAO treasury, 26.94% allocated to the team and advisors, 17.53% allocated to investors, 11.62% allocated for community airdrops, and 1.13% allocated to the DAO's arb project.
We can now make a valuation estimate for Arb based on comparisons to other public chains from the perspectives of TVL and ecosystem development:

From an ecosystem development perspective, Arb has the most richly developed ecosystem among them all so a conservative price estimate for Arb would be between **$.50-null** ,while an optimistic estimate would be between**null-2**.
