- 3 months shy of 13 years on Instagram I surpass my follower count on @lens/lens after just 22 months of sharing who I am / what I do / what I’m about. These are the first 10 images I ever posted to IG that had to be in-app photographs. The time was July 2011 as I worked on a summer-long snowboard film in Whistler, BC, Canada. I had moved out of my house in SLC to spend the summer on the glacier, which turned out to rain every day but 3, then make the trek back through Utah, grab my things, stop in the Chi & continue on to NYC where I blindly had a room waiting for me, knew few people, & had 10k saved with zero jobs lined up. Biggest leap I ever took, until now with Japan I guess (:
