We’re taking it back to the old school on this one. 8-bit NES games, the discovery of hip-hop music, skateboarding on ramps we built on the street outside our home…
I originally called this song “Thursday”, which happened to be the day on which it was written. It’s one of the first songs I wrote. I was in high school, learning how to properly play the guitar. I had started playing finger-style guitar around this time, and figured out a funky right hand pattern which became the basis of the song. I played it quite a lot, but never made a proper recording. So it feels good to finally release this to the world!
Lastly, a note about the message in the lyrics - when I was younger, I really tried to be an optimist; I wanted to see the best in people and in the world. Sometimes it was really, REALLY hard. But I always tried, and keep trying to this day. So, this is a song dedicated to those constantly working on transcending our differences and lifting each other up - because we’re better off as a species that way.

Naghsh-e Rostam is a necropolis located about 6 kilometers from Persepolis. It contains the tombs of several Achaemenid kings, including Darius the Great and Xerxes the Great. The Kaaba-ye Zartosht (Kaaba of Zoroaster) is also located at Naghsh-e Rostam. It is a rectangular chamber that is carved into the side of a cliff. The chamber is thought to have been used as a fire temple by Zoroastrians.

Hollow Knight doesn't handhold you with clear instructions. Instead, it invites you to embrace the adventurer within and explore its beautifully crafted world. The map isn't linear, offering multiple pathways and areas to discover to all directions, ensuring that every player's journey is unique.
The art and music? Simply breathtaking. It's a visual and auditory treat that adds depth to the overall experience. 🎨🎵

instead of fighting everyone’s attention spans, why not intrigue leaving a desire for something more? i think YouTube & IG ads that run under 10 seconds are the most effective these days as long as they have a lasting impact. short and sweet will win the content battle. currently working on a piece that will be on a “shatter” contract via transient labs - comprised of a handful of these style clips but if collected by one wallet they’ll combine into a longer form short film then and only then 👀
