- In this post, I tried to write briefly about the great scientist Nikola Tesla.
Nikola Tesla, a visionary genius, was born on July 10, 1856, in Smiljan, Croatia. From an early age, Tesla showcased remarkable intellectual abilities, which led him to pursue a career in engineering and physics. After studying at the Polytechnic Institute in Graz and the University of Prague, he joined the workforce to gain practical experience.
Tesla's most significant contributions to science and technology came during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He invented the alternating current (AC) system, a breakthrough that revolutionized the electrical power industry. His brilliance extended beyond AC power and included the development of the Tesla coil, wireless communication technology, and even a prototype for wireless electricity transmission.
Despite his contributions, Tesla's life was filled with successes and hardships. While working in the United States, he faced financial difficulties and sometimes struggled to fund his experiments, leading to numerous personal challenges. However, this did not deter Tesla's passion for innovation and scientific exploration.
Tesla's achievements earned him recognition and admiration among his peers, with famous entrepreneurs like Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse endorsing and collaborating with him. Joining the 🧅nion Game ( https://lenster.xyz/posts/0x01cfe5-0x0e ) yesterday I spent some time thinking about the Arbitrum Odyssey - did I mention that @onionclub.lens is live ? ;-). Tbh I don't know if the Arbitrum Odyssey was the first of its kind and of course the odyssey didn't last long. BUT from a marketing and ecosystem discovery point of view I still think odysseys in general are the most exciting campaigns I'm aware of. For users. - Introducing LIP-3: Lens Share. A new standard to share Lens profiles and publications across the evergrowing Lens ecosystem.
The number of apps flourishing within the Lens ecosystem has highlighted a need for URL sharing across platforms in a manner that's app-agnostic. Users should be free to engage with their app of choice. However, there can be situations where the users content might not be accessible on their preferred Lens app. That's why we've looked into augmenting the user experience.
The solution? A standardized link-sharing strategy and an app-agnostic interface. This promises smoother integration across apps within the Lens ecosystem, all the while preserving the credit to the original app.
Meet Lens Share Link — a universal URL that's capable of sharing a profile or publication.
Lens apps should adopt a common link format such as:
- https://share.lens.xyz/u/<handle> for Profiles
- https://share.lens.xyz/p/<publication-id> for Publications
We welcome all Lens app builders to contribute. Submit a PR against our repository with the app manifest(s) you'd like to see listed.
This is just the beginning of app-agnostic sharing on Lens. Stay tuned for more updates.
