- Many of the people who criticize or cancel us have been influenced by social media, past experiences, or societal pressures. Their actions don't always reflect their true selves but rather the environment in which they've been shaped. That's why we should let their words flow like a gentle breeze. Deep down, they may not truly mean what they say. They still have love and empathy towards us. Unconsciously, they are simply striving to be something or someone they are not🌹

- My art is my personal battle to change the way women are perceived in our society. The video I created is called "Happy life: social media VS reality". I want to show that anything I do as a girl will be criticized, from my choice of clothes to my art and my mental health. I also want to highlight how fake social media can be and question why people judge someone they don't even try to get to know. It feels like people throw all their insecurities on me.
I recently stumbled upon some old social media posts from 2011 and remembered that my performance art online started back then. It made me smile because I had written "Princess Jessica or the plastic silicon girl!" It's so similar to what I'm doing now, and I guess people don't get it, but it's my own little battle to change the way people perceive women in our society, expressed through my art.
During my first year in art school, I was the girly girl who dressed super sexy, and I received so much hate for it. Girls hated me, boys wanted to get with me, and it wasn't nice, to be honest. I remember losing all my friends because I had undergone some plastic surgery, and when I came to school, they were gossiping about it. It made me so sad. And 13 years later, not much has changed. You'd think that as you grow up, people get more mature and try to understand you better, but instead, everyone throws their own insecurities on you. It feels like people don't look further than the tip of their nose.
