Big release today, you can now gate your publications with access criteria. Remember your publications itself is an NFT so you can gate a publication so only people who collect can see it, same with your follow graph. Very excited in what you guys build with this.
Alongside this we have also exposed an endpoint to allow you to upload videos and audios, as we have seen uploading those via IPFS and serving them can cause them to buffer and be slow. Our API endpoint will upload it and transcode it serving that file to all people who call the API. Behind the scenes it will be pinning it to IPFS so on-chain state is still decentralized.
- feat: profile interests
- feat: gated publications powered by LIT - https://docs.lens.xyz/docs/gated
- feat: add 3 new providers to gasless
- feat: if no default profile picked select the first created one to expose more profiles
- feat: ability to upload audio and videos via the API and it be pinned for you on ipfs but the transcoded version will be served for better audio and video experience - https://docs.lens.xyz/docs/media
- Lens devs keep shipping 🛳️ 💨. A lot of cool things have been added with 1.26.0.

- 🌿 **Rooting in Web3 — day 1 Introducing** [**@LensProtocol**](https://twitter.com/LensProtocol)\
\
**Len's official game-changing intro:** \
Lens Protocol is a composable and decentralized social graph, ready for you to build on so you can focus on creating a great experience, not scaling your users. Not understand? No worry, let us explain!\
\
Our TLDR; Lens Protocol = infinite possibilities on the experience layer for users, yet connected with each other.\
Not convinced? No worry, let us explain!\
\
So what exactly is the experience layer? Lens Protocol, as mentioned a "protocol" that focuses on the protocol layer, which basically provides an open social graph that all social dApps can build upon. This is something never happened before in Web2!\
\
What this really meant is that all the social dApps can still be functioning on their own, yet sharing the same ground (social graph), and this enriches users' experiences from dApps to dApps in the Lensverse! 💚 🌿🌿🌿\
\
"With great power comes great responsibility" The only difference in @LensProtocol is that everyone has the power, and we're all responsible for it.\
\
Again, the infinite possibilities in [@LensProtocol](https://twitter.com/LensProtocol) will be the real game-changer in the social media landscape forever. There will be no single dominated Social Media just as happened in Web2 going to control everything forever in Web3. The future is decentralized.\
\
Today is our first day for our theme party! If you like it? For the following next 11 days, we're going to introduce to you all the awesome dApps in [Lens.](https://twitter.com/LensProtocol)
