- was thinking about the community aspect, would be interesting if Lens community members could by commenting extend or edit the prompt and contribute that way
- AuthorGPT Day 2 Update:
- Day two was all about understanding how to break the book into bite sized chunks that can be generated within ChatGPT's character limit I found that asking it to outline what each essay should include, & then asking it to generate each section worked wonders in keeping the flow.
This approach also helps me have a lot more granular control of the contents, being able to address specific sections without having to re-generate the entire essay every time whenever ChatGPT pops a generic reply
- After generating the first ~15 pages, we chilled & discussed an important aspect of this experiment Specifically, How to involve a community in a way that's meaningful. I really want to bring all of you on board into this adventure, but I haven't found the best way (I'd love some input here!)
- In other news, the results are out! The book will officially be named "Unwritten Authority"!
That's about it for now! Can't wait to kickstart the editorial fun tomorrow and start getting feedback on the process. Remember to share this around and participate, this book will only get better the more you share your insight
As always, remember to stay posted on this experiment via its official Quests page I'll start letting those who volunteer to join little by little as the main challenge of this quest unfolds

- 🚨 The secret to finding CRIT vulnerabilities easily is...
🐈 Fuzz Tests
(Sometimes known as invariant tests in Foundry)
Fuzz Testing or Fuzzing is when you supply random data to your system to break it.
There are two kinds of Fuzzing:
💨 Stateless Fuzzing: Fuzzing/Fuzz Testing where the state of a previous run is discarded for the next run.
🧱 Stateful Fuzzing: The state of our previous fuzz run is the starting state of our next fuzz run.
To see me do a breakdown of these concepts in video and all my balloon non-sense, be sure to watch my video or read my blog on the topic too!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juyY-CTolac
Stateless fuzzing is often easier and faster to setup, while stateful fuzzing is really what you want to aim for.
But before you go write your fuzz tests, you need to understand your systems "invariants" or "properties"
Invariant: The property of the system that should always hold.
Only then, can you attempt to throw random stuff at your code to break it.
In DeFi an invariant might be:
- Can't withdraw more than staked
- Reserve balance must always be higher than debt, etc
Now it's impossible for a fuzzer to go through every scenario, so understanding how the random number selection is done is crucial.
@trailofbits echidna combined with their symbolic execution tool maat does a fantastic job at using math to find breaking points with fuzzing.
At @CyfrinAudits we use this method to find vulnerabilities quickly, and recommend all developers implement them, even before going to audit!!
1. Understand your invariants
2. Write stateful fuzz tests for them
3. Don’t go to an audit before you've done this.
4. If you do, ensure your auditors help you understand your invariants!
Let's stay safer out there Web3!

- Great episode, does Fuel have an official Lens profile?
- How manuals will change with augmented reality
- We are accustomed to having printed manuals of all kinds, from recipe books, to operating and maintenance manuals for equipment, to manuals for assembling furniture in the home ourselves.
- In the best scenario there is video content that can enhance understanding and help us with the task at hand, otherwise -> paper.
- When we will have smart glasses for augmented reality, this content will be completely different from today.
- They will be real virtual models that will float in mid-air in front of our eyes and can be manipulated with voice and gestures to enhance our understanding of the task at hand.
The convergence of 3rd gen web tech means not only instruction manuals like this. It also means that many of these items could be 3D printed in your own home, after having made a scan of the space or person the item is for & made to those exact measurements. #SpatialWeb

Imagine creating 3D printable items and putting them on Lens for people to collect and earn you money for your work!
