I think yes it can. Assuming that you don’t mean replicating your favorite song, but create music that becomes your favorite song. I just started learning music production and playing instruments 4 years ago and I was first terrified by the idea of AI Music. But then I realized how it’s going to change music. Just imagine an AI where you could make the output a bit more predictable than it is possible now. Then imagine creating a song with lyrics that are tailormade about your story, your challenges, your life. On top of that imagine it’s in your favorite Genre and style, which means it will 100% resonate with and anyone who is like you. In that case it will surely become your favorite song. It will never replace music though. I think it will help musicians become more creative even. Maybe it can generate the perfect vocals or an instrument sample that you wish for your beat. Or craft an inspirational draft for a band or a composer. It will never replace the joy of playing an instrument though. Sry for writing a blog post in the comments section xD
I dont think AI could make my favorite song at all, nor do I think people could let music be made solely by machines. Theres always gonna be acoustic campfire bondfire songs and live human essence.
