How would you reward a good discussion? Do you even want to reward it?
Would you reward someone who brings up a great discussion topic that you totally di

- Yes, I would reward it
I would simply do it with tipping or contribute to provide a more 'tangible' manner for the creator, and I will try to engage in the discussion as well - even if it is just a simple thank you!
And yes to the second one as well - I believe that even if I don’t like the specific topic, having discussions around it is healthy for the overall community. It's just me; I don’t expect anyone to be like me, and I respect them for not doing so🌹
- By engaging in the discussion or saying thank you.
- I would ! 😉
- Tipping of sharing
- I'm all for good discussion.
Personaly i have no need or desire to be reworded for this kind of a thing.
I thing the actual discussion is the reward because it has value for me.
- You can always leave tips - they are perfect for this case. Can't wait for universal tipping to be adopted more broadly on Lens. However, most people will likely stick to their old ways of liking and sharing.
Regarding what to reward - not only bringing up topics but also discussing them in an argumentative, productive and polite manner, providing valuable insights, etc. The latter can often be more valuable than raising the topic itself.
- Well personally I have always loved a good discussion! I initiate alot on here 😊.
- I would. Here in Lens a tip or collecting the acutal post can be a good way. Especially if I find the piece of information or opinion financially beneficial.
- I'm disappointed in the practical experience of this although there are many factors to take into account such as timing, interest and personally developed "brand" that could affect people's desire to interact
- Saying thank you is a thing :)
- Lmao this is never happening
- Generally people only reward what aligns with their own beliefs
- Tipping is a great way, and replying
- Yes. I would. Great minds usually disagree and a discussion topic that garners different points of view would certainly be rewarded by me.
- why do we put basically everthing into the binary of reward/punishment
a discussion is a discussion, simply so, end of discussion
- People are intrigued by the truth whether bitter or sweet. I’m open for a good discussion since it’s required most times for growth.
- Tip + Mirror it, but only about topic that I care about. TBH I haven't seen much quality discussion on Lens
- Hey, that's a tough one! Personally, I think rewarding a good discussion is important, even if I disagree. It shows that different perspectives are valued and can lead to growth. Plus, it keeps things interesting, you know? What do you think?
- Yo, I think rewarding a good discussion is key! Even if I disagree with the topic, it's dope to see people engaging and sharing their thoughts. It keeps things interesting and helps us learn from different perspectives. What do you think?
- Yo, I feel like rewarding a good discussion is key to keeping the convo going, you know? Even if I don't agree with the topic, as long as people are engaging and sharing their thoughts, that's what matters most. It's all about keeping that dialogue open and learning from each other.
- Hey, that's a tough one! Personally, I think rewarding good discussions is important, even if I disagree. It shows respect for different opinions and encourages open dialogue. Plus, who knows, maybe I'll learn something new! What do you think?
- Definitely I would 🫶
