Are POAPs ded or still going strong?

- I think they are as dead as NFTs are or like streetwear was.
imo, POAPs will always remain strong, but perhaps only the way they are used and perceived may change. Before, they've been perceived as 'just' a digital token or image, or whatever people call it, and perhaps this iteration should have died because I think they can be much more than that.
So yeah, I believe that POAPs will always be strong🌹
- For in person events, still going strong. I love to collect POAPs in in-person conferences, but POAPs for only virtual events are not attractive to me, lol.
- I encounter POAP minting quite frequently when being on events or vote on Snapshot DAO proposals.
Also there still seems to be some trading of POAPs on NiftyFair:

But I guess it depends on what the individual sees the POAP for:
If you were hoping for special perks based on your POAPs, then that hope probably declined a bit. And if you collect POAPs just for the fun of collecting, it's still the same game as before.

It’s a perfect match imo. There’s not too much you can do with POAPs, very different if integrated in a social graph.
