The only thing that's onchain with Farcaster is the FID (the token representing your profile). The handles are offchain and centralized and profile data uses rented storage. The closest you get to onchain is first-class support for ENS usernames and (more recently) transaction support in Frames. No other part of Farcaster is onchain.
