I severely disagree with this. It gives a lot of discrepancies to the protocols instead of letting front ends resolve it.

as long as it’s only flagged or a score frontends can decide to use or ignore it. But I agree frontends should be enabled to make their own decisions and not forced on protocol level.
That's why I used the term "flagged" and not "blocked". The post is about having something in place on a protocol level each Frontend COULD (maybe SHOULD) but doesn't HAVE TO. Leaving it in any case to the the frontend how to deal with it. But right now, there's no system in place for dealing with squatters/impersonators and getting each Frontend one by one to mark them individually can't be the solution either. If you have a good idea how to handle it, I'd like to hear it.
