There's actually a few benefits to the swiss bar. It relieves tension on your shoulders and wrist because the neutral grip is a more natural position for your joints (the straight bar twist your arms and stresses your joints). It's also a more tricep dominate exercise when using the swiss bar too, and takes tension off your front delts. I also find it works my chest more, but that maybe just because it's harder to bench with this bar than a regular straight bar.
