yea I agree with you on all points, I and many who are already here believe in the virtues owning your data. (case in point : <https://tape.xyz/watch/0x89dc-0x85> ) The general public indeed doesn't prioritise it yet and as @lens/jeanayala mentioned in another comment "that people is not even conscious about it". Its like the saying, Decentralization and self-custody doesn't matter - Until it does. My point is that these virtues alone cannot be the selling point but rather a side-effect of a service/utility that the general public would love to use. For eg: I'm not a dev, but I've heard countless virtues of Linux over Windows and Mac, yet, besides the enthusiasts, the general public flock to the easier solution which solves their daily problems just as well if not better. Which begs the question - to whom do we want to appeal to? If the goal is to onboard the next billion users, reality is that the virtues (despite being he most important aspect) alone just won't cut it. We need to deliver those virtues inside a 'trojan horse' of utilities that the general public would love to use. cc @lens/0xmoe @lens/superluminal
