EIP 4844 is not overhyped because it’s an EIP for UX. Cuts fees on L2 until blobs fill up and there will be something necessary for Uniswap V4 and their Singletary Contract. Cheaper Fees.. Gasless Swaps..
it makes everything we have in L2 land today 10x better. Imagine web2 like web3 experiences for consumer apps. In terms of barrier of entry. (I guess most consumer apps will abstract transaction fees from their users, like warpcast does it already today). The only missing puzzle piece then are exciting apps attracting and onboarding web2 users at scale.
i just had an optimism tx cost 2$. can't come soon enough

Yes, it's overhyped. That will be the beginning of everthing...
cheaper fees and faster txn throughput, its a dream come true. Additionally, steps towards achieving full danksharding in the future. So super excited for this.
