- I've deployed some smart contracts to zkSync and Polygon zkRollup. DevX on polygon is way better, imo.

From my experience, zkEVM has not a good rich user experience until right now, some of protocols are still working on the mainnet updating
- I tried zkEVMs and happy with the user experience. Transaction went smoothly and especially enjoy using the bridging feature.
- Yes. Especially the byte code compatible ones like scroll, consensys, polygon are super easy to test. No further tools needed, e.g. remix is sufficient to give it a quick try with a test contract. The other ones (language compatible) like eg. zkSync era need some extra tooling but are also really great. Can't wait for their public mainnet. In general i think zkEVMs have a great future. Moreover, speaking even more general, the underlying technology aka zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs), will have a huge impact regarding privacy and scaling in web3 and beyond.

- To keep it 100, all these zkEVMs do the same thing. They all promise gasless transactions / fast tx. But if i had to choose it will be zksync and scroll just because of their funding
Also Stani look into Alt Layer. Its my favourite upcoming Layer 1 / Layer 2 network, what caught my eye about them was their flash layer feature👀

- Yes, zks is still very comfortable to use, looking forward to the release of 2.0
- Testing zkSync with its limited ecosystem apps at the moment, and having my eye on Scroll .. then Takio (which is quite early on in their development compared to the rest).
I find that the overall ZK ecosystem (across all platforms) is quite early where there are a quite limited number of applications actually utilizing the ZK functionality in a novel way.
