Comments
- i dont even know what is worldcoin ๐
- Obvious attempt at selling people's data.
Also, all of this: https://www.technologyreview.com/2022/04/06/1048981/worldcoin-cryptocurrency-biometrics-web3/
- It's a bold solution to one of the biggest problems in crypto.
- Mood = No. SF startup whose first moves were to scan eyeballs in the poorest countries on earth via a pyramid-ey business model. But hey, maybe I'm just misspelling "altruism" ;-)
- I appreciate the overall sentiment of human-centric UBI in the age of AI but I will be saving my eyeballs for now. I just can't help but think of this classic meme...
- Itโs a no & never for me.
- Worldcoin? ๐
- If it's that token whose counterpart is a biometric proof of your identity... I find it a little creepy.
- Creepy af

- with respect ser, 'the mechanism lens tell its a robot or not is sucks' thats the main topic I see around recently about lens~
- Never scan your eyeball for a few dollars or are you that cheap? What if your iris biometrics will secure your house like in Mission Impossible? They will hack Worldcoin website or they will have a personal information leak.
- Nah, I don't like scanning my eyes for some dollars
- Sentiment still negative for me. But, I wouldn't rule out being a 'user' in the future.
- Find @wav3s.lens and mirroring to earnings. Lens is looking good ๐
- interesting project, scan the eyes probably a marketing thing
- scan the eyes probably a marketing thing
- **Out of the topic..**
I have an issue with my Lenster profile.
For every task, the system asks sign-in through meta mask & a transaction fee.
Is this a system error?
@stani.lens
- TBH
I don't like the idea of collecting my eyeball information.
- Big No , kinda unregulated sensible data , in EU it's a huge violation of GDPR law...
- It is a psyops to lure people giving up their dna/private information. Or it could be like applewatch; step 1 of implementing a chip in human body. Don't be a cheap fck and give up important information for 1 buck or don't be a wokey saying that we don't have anything to hide if we are no criminals. (they also said that during Corona --> this means society can exclude people illegally)
- I do understand the Gasless aspect? But how can one not be flagged or removed from being flagged; is lens only for builders as a Web3 social platform why can't we exercise the freedom of community participation.
Yes maybe creating posts can require gas , but to comment, mirror its frustrating.
- sir why lens consuming 0.1 matic gas to post in lens.... any solution??
- Stay away from my eyes!!
- As dystopian as it sounds, I think the only way forward to a lot of use cases is to be able to verify that someone is actually human. Otherwise the digital space will be filled with fakeness and bots.
