Option 1 will work best ,I guess it used to be like that in Phaver earlier with a simple mirror(or 100 % to the original post,not sure) I am not sure what

The ability to add a "quote" to a mirror is somewhat new (it was a highly requested pheature) so I think the easy implementation was to treat it as a brand new post. I do want to be able to add a quote so I can introduce the mirror and say why I like it, but I don't want to "steal" the rewards for someone else's content!
