Post by @stani • Hey
What kind of details you would want to have on a block explorer? What kind of things are missing?
Comments
- I would actually like a block explorer that's simple, and only has the info that people are looking for 99.9% of the time. Like,
Tx time
Tx confirmation
Send / receiver
Amount transferred
Time & date
Maybe a block exprer that has a simple interface with only essential details for the average person, but has a toggle for an "advanced" interface for the minority that need it.
- I like the detail I have now for lens in the block explorer, but I’ve always wanted a super explorer that has all the chain transactions in one place
- I'd like an easy-UI way to aggregate the various platforms for my content, with some sort of structure for me to tell my audience what type of content to expect on each.
- Personally, I would love to see more detailed information on transactions. It would be awesome to have more clarity on where the funds are coming from and going to, as well as the transaction fees. Additionally, having more data on the blocks themselves, such as timestamps and miner information, would be a nice touch. As for what's missing, I think some block explorers could benefit from more user-friendly interfaces, making it easier for newbies to navigate and understand the information presented.
- not sure of the details. I like OnceUpon by Jordan Messina (https://twitter.com/jordanmessina). it's in closed beta, though, and only on Ethereum mainnet.
it's able to group various addresses (wallet addresses, smart contracts,...), you can label addresses, and much more.
another rather cool example: if you mint an NFT, the details show the complete asset flow as well as all involved contracts (e.g. the Gnosis Safe as well).
some examples and screenshots are in the Twitter feed (https://twitter.com/onceupongg), descriptions are on the Notion site (https://onceupon.notion.site/Once-Upon-Getting-Started-Docs-7878ff63ec5442e3a191f5cabf1b9821).
- Social security numbers 😆
- I think the question is more what do I not want to see that other people can see so just easily thinks like have my follows and lens profile in different addresses connected by a ZKP. Don’t spend your time doing that though . 😂

- Have no precise suggestion for now but loved the q. Noteworthy
👏

- The block explorer can help me earn money.

- I think block browsers should add detailed and specialized information about NFT. There are also overall position details for each address. For example, some giant whales?

- 1. Provide richer data visualization: Blockchain explorers can use various forms of visualization, such as graphs, tables, and charts to present data, helping users to better understand and analyze blockchain transactions and information.
2. Add more filtering and search functionality: Users can filter and search transaction information based on time, transaction type, address, etc. to quickly find the desired information.
3.Support more blockchain networks: Currently, most blockchain explorers only support a few blockchain networks such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. In the future, more blockchain network support can be added.
4.Provide more comprehensive transaction and address analysis: In addition to basic transaction and address information, more data analysis can be provided to users, such as risk assessment and asset flow, to help users better understand data on the blockchain.
5.Add user authentication and privacy protection features: For users who require a higher level of security, identity authentication and privacy protection features can be provided to ensure the security and privacy of user information.
- I think incoporate an AI to help new users perform transactions from the block explorer which also provides an explanation on the how to and why to promote greater understanding
- More advanced analytics and visualization: A block explorer can provide more advanced analytics tools and visualization features to help users gain deeper insights into the activity and trends on the blockchain network.
- I’ve always wanted a super explorer that has all the chain transactions in one place
- better ui for everything. a list of contract addresses with no colors is confusing enough. The crypto space is focused on devs and developing instead of market penetration. block explorers should make data fun.
- I hope that the blockchain browser should be concise and convenient first, and then there will be professional content label options, and it can also filter and memorize the data according to the user's browsing habits, so that it will save time when opening next time.
- ok i guess you mean you will add lens domain to block explorer to let people recognize
- some combination of these features
1. cross chain and simple transaction readability (debank)
2. portfolio summary including vault positions (debank)
3. transaction detail including smart contract event traces (etherscan)
3b. expandable smart contract traces
4. onceupon.gg has really nice way to step from one address into the next
- Simple interface, high detail , lens explorer on its way?
- Provide richer data visualization: Blockchain explorers can use various forms of visualization, such as graphs, tables, and charts to present data
- Great ui for everything
- helping users to better understand and analyze blockchain transactions and information.
- UI need to be more convenient
- has a toggle for an "advanced" interface for the minority that need it.

- Ability to see on-chain trajectories, like an on-chain resume, but without location
- Ability to see on-chain trajectories, like an on-chain resume
- It would be great if it could have a function like an encyclopedia answer. When I find something I don't understand, I can open a menu, for example, and a word entry will pop up to explain it.
- Csv export super important for transaction tracking
- Any possibility for including an incremental day-wise/month-wise profile visits?
Also any possibility in including the person who liked, replied, mirrored to our entire posts for the month or day - again day-wise/month-wise with top 5 or top 10?
- 🛠️ Support for a visual preview of NFTs 🎨
- such as the number of unconfirmed transactions, their size, and the total fee estimation. Furthermore, it would be useful to see detailed information on smart contracts, including their bytecode, source code, and execution history.
- a whole view of active account and bot account
- Personally, I would love to see more detailed information on transactions. It would be awesome to have more clarity on where the funds are coming from and going to, as well as the transaction fees. Additionally,
- I guess You working on lens explorer 🤔
- everything
- Message address
- simple and fast
- Good idea!
- Good components layout
Smooth transition UI effect
