Some thoughts how Lens ecosystem could evolve. First there should be a baseline out of the box features and algos available to all apps/use-cases to rely u

- I think all this is great and I agree.
But I think the biggest growth factor would be to have more nice, crazy, intelligent people who creat great content and engage in discussions. imo the obstacle is still that Lens is just not accessible for people who don’t want to deal with wallets, private keys, seed phrases etc. which I believe are 95% of everyone. We would need an app that handles all the web3 stuff invisible but safely in the background.
- It sounds super cool to be able to have different experiences in different apps, but we should pay attention not to cause frustration on users, and I understand that it might be a big challenge with a shared database.
Ex: not being able to interact with Orb pools and mentions.
Maybe a more defined definition around graph features/app features/algos?
- It would be exciting to see completely new experiences mixed and mashed with the baseline features.
For example, shopping, gaming and community based decision making.
I’m personally most excited about AI-assisted co-creation with well-designed social dynamics. Apps like Revel are building in that direction.
- People who use app curated algos 👍People who use custom algos and serve them to the app 😍💍

- As Lens becomes more accessible and widely adopted, the benefits of this direction would be amplified. The increased accessibility would attract a larger user base, resulting in more diverse and dynamic communities. Users would have the freedom to explore various apps while enjoying tailored experiences that cater to their specific interests and preferences.
- i think that a possible growth direction for lens to grow is through imitating what snapchat did with their games, a good start to this was chesswithfrens, but in the same thought case scenario, similar apps could be built on top of lens such as tennis with frens, sudoku, scrabble etc
i feel like lens could also expand in the direction of metaverse, all of your NFTs which are obviously linked to ur address, which is obviosuly linked to ur lens profile could be animated and turned 3D into a metaverse like experience, then all of your friends on lens, could come to visit your "house", "cave", "home", where your NFT's like your animated 3D bored apes, or Beanz could be brought alive, a bit like what snapchat did with their "alphabear hustle", which u should try out if u have time. In essence, it allowed for you to play a word game, then using the points from that word game, you could use that to buy items and decorate your garden. So in that sense, it might be a good idea for lens to move in a direction of deeper integrations with NFT communities like ApeCoin DAO and BAYC, and Beanz.
sorry if my reply is a little all over the place
- Thats exactly what i was thinking. Apps need to find their own original ways. The only way to surpass web2 is to upgrade, not copy
- @stani.lens I think that users should be able to change their algorithm by unchecking certain topics. So say for example your algorithm puts forward POLITICS, CRYPTO, NFTs, FOOTBALL. Users should be able to remove whichever topics they like, at any time.
- I agree! differentiation is important also for directing better the users to a specific service and creating in addition less competition among the apps. The collection data will be automatic after that
- or example, shopping, gaming and community based decision making.
- Great idea 🔥
- The TLDR feature is so powerful.
- just。。。。
- Definitely
